 Tip - keep hold of one of your receipts as at the bottom right hand corner is your card number and if you turn the receipt over the number to phone is listed. Let them know your number, confirm details and they will transfer over those precious points to a new card and send it out!
Do you mean by that that the new card will be under a new a/c number? I'm guessing you do, otherwise the old cancelled card would be still be active.

I wonder if those who feel that they get fairly crap offers from Boots could pretend they've lost their card - call to cancel it - and get their points safely transferred to a potentially more generous new card?

    Devious? Moi? ;):D

Though of course it's sod's law that the second you cancel, you'll have no card and miss out on the biggest Boots AC loophole in history!

My husband is going to return some items he bought for me tomorrow. And I was kinda hoping he would get a giftcard with the money on. But if not and he buys No7 items worth £15 + will he get the freebie bag as well as a skincare voucher.
    Hi Calley
Yes! Did it myself the other day.

Spent £16 on No 7 product PLUS free gift, £2 on Hair Science and returned goods to the value of £17.

Just had to pay £1 o/s diff. And still received Skincare/Chocs voucher. :)

Boots tills treat a return as a payment towards your total spend rather than netting off your return against your new purchases. So in the example above, I could've then returned my new goods again for something only a few pence more expensive, paid the diff, and the till would have treated it as if I'd again spent over £10 and allowed me another Skincare/chocs voucher.

If you see what I mean! :)

I did this the other week with two shampoo vouchers and it worked fine - not sure I'd be brave enough to try 5, and I think it may depend on the SA but if your the brave type give it a go & let us all know!
It seems - if the SA will allow it  - that the tills will accept any AC vouchers, regardless of whether you've even bought the product.

But the till doesn't seem to accept it if you try to put thru more than 1 of the "non-AC" vouchers (example the £5 off Time Delay vouchers) for a single product in a single transaction.

    Would others agree with this?

Most upset because i love the cucumber handwash and genuinely do need more.
Haven't tried the EI cucumber handwash, but the Boots Skincare Cucumber Facial Wash (about £1.30ish) doubles up as a very gentle handwash and is currently on BOGOF.

If it's good enough to use on your face, it's good enough for your hands too! :)

the lynx voucher is not like the EI so only 100 points added, and by then I forgot the 50 extra points. So I was very mad, of not getting all my offers right.

Can anyone think of what can I do? Shall I once again return everything? Will they allow it again? Can I keep the points?:confused:
Personally, for the sake of a few points Vs the hassle of putting the goods thru the till for a 3rd time  I'd let this one go and mark it down to experience. :)

did you managed to get the trevor sorbie discounted, they look very expensive and if so was it in Sutton, is it open tomorrow? I don't know if I can face to return everything again
Sutton's open Sunday - 1030 - 1630 I think - but don't think I've seen any reduced TS for a couple of weeks. May be some hiding somewhere though!

Hi can i ask a quick question?
Does anyone know- if you pay with a boots voucher or giftcard can you still get points for an AC promotion e.g. the EI 150 points promotion?

Also i noticed in all earlier post that a refund will count towards your total spend to get a £5 skincare voucher, but could you return something and then use the value to buy something that gets you points again like the EI promotion?

I have a Gym Ball id like to return but i dont know if it would be better to get the balance on a giftcard and then try to use on the EI offer or to just exchange it in one transaction?

    Please help!

If youv'e got a head like a sieve like me.....then a written plan of attack is the way to go......I read these threads and make notes of what to get and how to get it....... I'd be totally knackered otherwise¬
  • I saw the new offer for No 7 goodies displayed in my local Boots today. It is a really good package. There was a big sign up saying starts 1st February to 28th.

Also saw the old No 7 box for sale at £7.50 - mmmmmm didn't think much of that considering we got it for free !!
