Hmmm, done a little research on the company (great thing this interwebnet thingy), and things might not be as rosy as it seems ( they tend to push sales of time-share a lot on these hols, and availability may not be as brilliant as they make out). Will find out more tomorrow when I call (yes, it`s a freephone No, wouldnt call otherwise).

I received the same letter...I'm not sure what its about as yet, as I havent had a chance to phone up. But it does look a bit dodgy

bESIDE THE pbS WIN THE LAST TIME WE WON WAS 4 YEARS BACK FOR A BRITANY SPEARS COMP TO MEET THE WOMAN. MY DD SPENT HOURS MAKING HER A GIFT GAVE IT TO HER AND SHE SPENT BARELY 30 SECONDS WITH HER DISCARDING HER ORIGAMI GIFT ASIDE. uNFORTUNATLY SHE WAS NOT VERY FRIENDLY , MUST HAVE BEEN HAVING A BAD DAY MAYBE. I phoned these people today about a letter that i received saying I'd won a prize.
You have to pay a service charge of over £300 each year to receive your "Free" week away lol. The offer in your first year is only with the england, portugal, spain and turkey.

My best win was about a year and a half ago when I first started comping. I won a Kona Dawg Matic mountain bike on the visitscotland.com website (worth £1,200). I sold it on ebay for £900. :T

Since then I have had a couple of really small wins- until last week when I won ltd edtion madonna (bright pink) vinyls and limited edition Madonna remix triple vinyls. I haven't decided whether to sell these or not yet!!

I won the ps2 game 'the getaway - black monday' from storm watches.
I would have been pleased had I not recieved an email telling me I'd won the game, and a slimline Ps2 , which they then apologised for and said it was an error and I was actually the runner up so only won the game..lol

I've started manically doing comps again - funny how whenever I feel the purse strings go REALLY tight my urge to comp goes through the roof LOL

Only ever won two things - first was a load of Kerastase hair products I didn't even remember about

And then last month I won the Big Gay Read's Recommended Reading List! Brilliant prize for me as I'm a complete bookworm - I was so excited when the box containing 21 books turned up at my office
I already had about 6 of the books tho so they have been added to 'must Ebay' list

I've only won 2 things that I've actually received to date. I won a mascara fro Avon instant win, and a dvd of the latest Lassie film. I don't remember entering a comp, but it came recorded delivery, just the dvd in the jiffy bag - no note wit it, so I've no idea where it came from. i just assumed I must have won a runners-up prize.

Also, I've won a lucky dip prize from Avon that hasn't arrived yet. Plus a toothbrush kit from Holiday Inn, a football Tamagotchi type game, and my dd1 won a Ribena plant. All of which I'm waiting (very patiently) for:D

There are no life-changing wins as yet, but you never know what's around the corner.....
