Last year me and my girlfriend fancied doing a few festivals, we had little spare cash as we were doing a lot of major work on the house so we started to enter a few web based competitions for tickets as prizes.

One of these comps were on a web site called "Rockbeast" they were offering to VIP tickets to the Download Rock Festival up at Donington Race Track....we entered back in Feb and the festival was in June.

To be honest we had forgot all about it, then out of the blue 7 days before we had a phone call you had one thats like £260 pounds worth of tickets amazing :-) as it was sponsered by snickets they also sent a box of 48 snickers as part of the prize.

Being both vegan this was no good to us so we gave them to our neighbour for feeding the cat whilst we were away he was chuffed with them....everyone a winner.

BTW for the record I did not mean my neighbour fed our cat snickers for 4 days solid :-)

Last won two tickets to Hampton Court flower show last year, nothing since, of course you have to be in it to win it, so have sent off load of card comps today, so wish me luck!!!

I started this post having won nothing hoping hearing about other peoples wins would keep me motivated about entering comps and it has really worked. Also received a dvd player with a dvd last week. My first prize so i'm really chuffed, :beer: also meant i could write something on this post.

Supposed to have won at http://www.borntoloaf.co.uk/ as it says in the email I received today:

Have to wait and see if anything turns up.

One of the nicest things about entering compeition is being able to give things to friends and family. I like the holiday ones becuase I have been able to take my daughter places I couldn't have afforded to otheriwse.

I have just received an email to say I have one a competition. I entered it in my sons name as it was to win a toy, but can't remember what the toy was as i have entered so many comps. Will let you all know when it arrives.
