Last thing I won was £50 of Selfridges vouchers for completing a questionnaire for the Evening Standard about six weeks ago, I was very pleased!

However the oddest thing I won - at least I think I did - was a Wham CD and video. They were delivered in a jiffy bag, I assume as a prize from a competition, but I don't remember entering a Wham competition, and there were no details with the "prize". Either a forgotten competition or a mystery Wham fan trying to re-ignite their popularity...?

Second oddest thing was a bottle of radox bubble bath. Odd because the postage probably cost more than the prize!

The only thing ive ever won is first prize in a school raffle which was a helicopter ride over the Queen Elizabeth Bridge at Dartford.
The forest would be very silent if no birds sang except for the birds that sang the best

Supposed to have won at http://www.borntoloaf.co.uk/ as it says in the email I received today:

"I am delighted to tell you that you have won last month's borntoloaf daily entry competition."

Have to wait and see if anything turns up.

I have won from Born to loaf in twice the past and the prize turned promptly both times.

Hi, my best win was last year - only entered a few magazine comps on impulse - bagged £5,000 to spend on a new bathroom (from a women's magazine).:D

It had to be purchased at MFI but hey - it was £5,000 free and it's still looking good after the bashing our 4 kids give everything. The guy in MFI didn't believe me until I showed him the letter & he was able to check with Head Office!

B4 having children I used to enter loads of competitions and won quite a lot of smaller items, loved the excitement of wondering what the postie would bring next (often stuff I'd forgotten about, with no covering letter to remind you what the comp was!).

One day I may have some time to become a keen comper again...
