Exactly but ERIK has convinced himself that a two meter aerial flylead can make a difference

    which is impossible!

    :rotfl:

    Lets look at the basics.
    The digital 'cliff effect'
If the aerial lead in use now is of poor quality and is right on its limit. Cutting it back and replacing with something half decent will allow more length before the 'cliff effect' comes into effect

    Impossible?

    Oh yes ;)

    (Dumb a**)

Anyways sheep, you still havnt told me what your 'qualified' as?
    hahahaha

So just to clear this up - I've just received and fitted my IXOS cable and boy what a difference. Channels that weren't previously available on freeview are now available and some of the basic channels that were previously breaking up are now 'picture perfect'.

So looks like AlienRik was right, the IXOS cable does make a big difference:beer::beer:

Since the UK currently uses PAL-I standard for UHF analogue transmissions, and few other countries do, there's no point in taking a UK TV abroad unless you are certain that it is "multistandard". If, however, you simply want to connect it to a satellite TV receiver or DVD player via SCART or HDMI lead, then it should be fine.
