11 months for a reassessment, thats a joke. Keep going ,you will get to someone in the end who has half a brain and actually has no choice but to agree that that is unacceptable.

Ever since I saw the !!!!!! version of 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs', I have kept away from them. Lets just say I hope Snow White didn't make the tea with those hands after I saw what she was doing with them:eek:

Have had a great chuckle at the last few posts, my thread always seems to deviate off topic! After having spoken to Troy himself albeit briefly on the phone as he is putting it all in writing, he most definately does not sound like a !!!!!! star, he didn't call me babe to start with, and he stuttered and stammered through most of the conversation so, unless he was having trouble getting his words out as he was otherwise occupied, I would dispute the !!!!!! star theory. Shame though! Not that I have seen any !!!!!! films either, but I have heard about such things!

In view of that he either is a puppet/muppet or he was playing with something he shouldn't have been playing with.

My daughter came back from her father's on friday absolutely livid with me, apparently he has been telling her all about the CSA hounding him (I have never really discussed it with the children, as really I didnt want them to think their father is a loser!) and that they have said he has to pay a huge amount of money every month, more than half what he earns and that he would rather go on the dole than pay anything to the CSA which is what he intends to do. When I asked her did she not think he should have been paying something towards her and her brother's upbringing for the past 15 years , she said no! and that it is ok that he is keeping a roof over the heads of the 7 children his girlfriend has, and putting food on their table, but that he doesnt need to do that for his own children. her reasoning behind this is because I chucked him out, apparently as it was my decision then he shouldnt have to pay anything.

To say I was heartbroken was an understatement, I was very grown up though and didnt slag him off (too much) just said that she was entitled to her opinion and that had her father been paying any kind of money towards her upbringing, I might have been able to afford to help her buy the car she is so desperate for, told her to ask her father to put the money he wont be paying through the CSA towards it for her! Joking aside, I was very upset, still am, at her attitude, she always has thought her father can do no wrong and is very quick to take his side, and cannot see that he is ever wrong

Well i am sure when she has done a bit of growing up she will realise that isn't the way it does or should work.

Her father is obviously telling her lies as the CSA would never take more than half his pay. The maximum a DEO will allow is 40% of earnings. He maybe should have considered this when he was not paying !

Not true!

I had more than half my pay taken for about 8 months...yes it took 8 months to sort it out, even after I had sent them 3 months worth of payslips

another update!
Spoke to CSA this week, apparently NRP didnt turn up for his 2nd attempt comittal hearing on Tuesday, no surprises there, after he didnt show at the first one earlier in the month, the warrant officer contacted him and told him that he had one more chance, set the date for the next hearing, and my ex assured them that he would be attending, he realised how serious it was, etc etc! then didnt turn up. CSA said that as the warrant officer acted quickly last time and contacted him within days (not sure if they went to his house or phoned him) then hopefully he will be contacted again pretty quickly, the CSA said there will be no more chances and once they get hold of him, he will be kept in custody until the hearing, usually the same day or following day.
