Zero feedback user paid by bank transfer...can he reverse ?

Hi there and thank you in advance for your help . I have just sold my phone ( A new V3 ) and the winner with zero feedback paid quickly via bank transfer .....now she is asking to send the phone out ASAP ( today were her words ) ....I have never dealt with bank transfers before....can you reverse them ? I don't want to ship the phone and loose the money...if you know what I mean ?

I think if the money is showing in your account he cannot get it back.

Check your account to see if the money is there before sending.

I would ring and speak to your bank and check that the money is in your account and double check what they say about it! That way you can be certain!

theres a thread i started on this about payment by direct transfer. have a look on that there may be some help. Someone mentioned something about the buyer claiming down the line that if the payment was fraudulent they could get the money back but i'm not sure

as long as those magic words "could you send it to my nephew in Nigeria" don't pop up I think you'll be ok

If they transfered from one bank to another bank (say Lloyds to Halifax) then it can take a few days to clear i think. But, if they took the money out of their bank account and walked into a branch that you have your bank with and paid over the counter - it _should_ go in straight away. Best to check with your bank just to be safe.
