Thanks for posting in capitals. That made your post so much clearer to read ::)
You can see quite clearly that it's a secure site by the valid certificate associated to nxtrains.co.uk
Also if you go to https://www.nxtrains.co.uk it redirects to qjump.co.uk which is a respectable site for buying tickets.
I'm sure everyone checked that before posting their card details... ;)
Also, about your paypal "comment". When you receive a paypal confirmation email, if it is a legitimate email then that just confirms that the money is in your paypal account - NOT your bank account. In order to move the money to your bank account, you need to withdraw the funds.0 -
absolutely cracking deal thank you very much!!!!
Going home this weekend to Llandudno, then weekend after going to London. So this has saved me a packet.
Anyone know the conditions on the return part of a cheap day return. Does the return part definately have to be used same day? Or is it valid for a month like saver returns0 -

both outward and return portions of a cheap day return must be used on the day the ticket is valid for.
the problem with not being able to booked tickets after a certain date is because of various engineering works around the country. network rail have to advise train companies of details of works 12 weeks in advance, but at christmas this never happens and at the moment timetables are not even available for the new year period not because of the companies not wanting to sell you cheap tickets but because of network rail not getting their fingers out!!ADOPT DONT SHOP......🐕🐕🐕🐕0 -
Various points about UK (ATOC) rail tickets.
1. Day return is only valid for one day ! (plus a few hours either side).
2. Savers and SuperSaver Return portions are valid for one month from the date of the outward journey. Outward journey is only valid on the date shown on the ticket ! You cannot break the outward, but you can break the return, for up to one calander month.
So if you book your outward portion of a SVR or SSR for (say) 23-Dec-2004, you can still use the return up until 22-Jan-2005. But you cannot book a seat after (04?-Jan-2005). So you just book your return for earlier, but use the ticket later:-) This will not effect the validity of the SSR or SVR portion, just that you won't be able to book a reserved seat !
SVRs and SSVs are not valid on some peak hour services, especially those into London.
