Uninstalled Norton Systemworks 05...Help!

Options
Antivirus was up on the 4th.

I'm concerned about the SP2 firewall. Is it enough?

Computer is an Athlon 64.
Running SP2 Home Edition XP
M/S Antispyware
Ad-Aware SE
Spybot
Spywareblaster
SpywareGuard Live update ( although it hasn't for ages!)
CCleaner

I've run Trend Micro House Call

I've just installed AVG 7.1

Any suggestions?

Many thanks...this is a great site

    I have got Sygate now.

Should I disable the SP2 forewall now?

    Thanks again.

Nope just leave that as it is.

Just register sygate when asked its free.. just enter Name and email..

    also a little trick...

Right click the sygate Icon near the PCs clock, Options, Ok or agree
then put a tick in Hide Notification Messages then OK

Yes as it will just keep asking you every time you start PC..
Just restart PC and that will prompt the register form again.

I run Norton System works at the moment anyway, one thing though it dosen't have a firewall, so I was wondering what the OP was using beforehand?

I'm using Zone Alarm Pro ,was going to get rid of it but they seem to have fixed the problems with release 6.0.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

    Hi

I was using Norton firewall.I have uninstalled the lot.

Sygate has told me something was scanning my computer before and I've got these: as.casalmedia,yieldmanager,adfarm.mediaplex and Ripe net stuff knocking about.

Any ideas how I can get rid?

    Thanks once again.
