Last year found a cheque book of "Perfect Love Cheques" to be drawn on the Bank of Love, with promises on each cheque, valid from and to dates, and under the signature space "your devored lover". He loved it!!
Price is £3.50, available from https://www.mombooks.com, although I bought it somewhere in a gift shop.
Happy Valentine!
Or for free you can go
here
Even better as they are personalised.

You can get the best of both worlds though - personalised and inexpensive:
Buy some coloured card from WHSmith or wherever, and cut it into heart shapes. Probably best to draw one well and trace round it so they're not all mis-shapen (hearts never the easiest to draw!)
Get yourself a nice pen - glitter, gold, silver etc - and turn the hearts into Love Cheques / Love IOUs / Love Promises - whatever you want to call them depending on how mushy, romantic, cheesy you're feeling
Then depending on how many cards you've got, and how generous with your emotions you are, get promising: hugs, kisses, meals out, meals in, massages, cleaning the bathroom, hoovering up, a night of tv choice, a weekend away, looking after the kids, or any other "special treats" (wink wink) you may want to offer
Now all you've got to do is stick to your promises!!!0 -
The treat: Renew wedding vows OR commitment of love ceremony: plus free glass of champers, strawberries in chocolate, cetificate and commemorative photo.
How much? FREE!!!!
Where can you get it? Only from Storrs Hall, on the shores of Lake Windermere.
I'm afraid it is somewhat "location specific" but if you can get to Storrs Hall on Valentine's Day between 10am and 6pm, you can have a vow renewal or commitment of love ceremony. Romantic nibbles (strawberries dipped in chocolate etc) are included, as is a glass of champagne, commemorative photograph and certificate. Contact number of hotel for more details: 015394 471110 -
The treat
Valentine spell candles and gift sets - really different gift idea
How much?
From £7.95 upwards
Where from?
Brighter Blessings
The DISCOUNT CODE
10% off if you use the promotional code LOVE at the checkout.
My wife "subtley" emailed me this website's newsletter last week (nothing like being specific...I'm not complaining!)
The newsletter states that this code will work for all newsletter subscribers. I'm not a subscriber and the code worked fine for me, so it should work fine for you two ;¬)0 -
I did this for xmas and it worked a treat. We're getting married this year. I worked out from xmas day until our wedding was 180 days. I bought a forever friends small box and some coloured paper and a gold and silver coloured pen and wrote 180 reasons why we should get married.
Everyone thinks I'm really sweet (which I am) and romantic. (We also got engaged at the top of the Eiffel Tower on Valentines Day). Perhaps fellow MS can try this but obviously use their own dates or landmarks... This earned me several (180+) brownie points...
Total Cost: around £5
Time taken: Days...
Where: Clinton Cards

I'm not sure you're allowed to advertise your own business on here? Nice idea though.0
