Apart from the Moderator and a couple of other regular posters on this site.I must say i find it most odd that the thread is kept going by posters that mention simply fone products more then usual.Check their posts your see what i mean! Or is it all a big coincedence?0

No Simply Fone or its products are not as amazing as you make out, their are normally cheaper alternatives and to continually tout on this website is abusing this excellent site.0 -
I rather agree with the sceptical remarks about Simply-Fone. There have been very similar products to cheapestchat around from other providers for ages, but only when this one arrived did such types get moved into the Callchecker, after extensive lobbying by their fans.
On another thread MSE Martin has said that others will only be added if they have the cheapest rate for any destination. Will Cheapestchat actually supply calls to Belgian mobiles at 1.1p per minute, and why do they list five network names when there are three - or is this nonsense?
And Simply-Fone's 07744 service is a shadow of what it was a year ago, in terms of destinations - you now can't call landlines of some European countries all the time, when a year ago you could call the corresponding mobile as well. Some countries are listed 7 times, merely to disguise the fact that there are now only 40 permanent destinations.
It certainly is noticeable that certain members promote only S-F and the parent company's other products. Fine, but why should other equally good ones be squeezed out by being abused in comparison?0 -
Why do you choose to compare only the option that you think you can generically slag off the most? Plenty of other arrangements use caller ID like this does and have no hidden supplements, eg 1899, 18185 which are post-paid and have call details, and calling cards that also have online call details - how can you study the call charges with this arrangement? How many companies can present these as legitimate expenses with no records?hungry wrote:intersting post above redux -- except tried prepad cards &:
1) the quality is normally totally crap 2) they normally have connection charges/ daily charges / expiry dates / per minute billing..
For people calling from O2, Orange, Virgin contracts [although the thread is in the Home Phones board, some have specifically mentioned using mobiles for business use] most of the destinations are reachable during normal working hours from inclusive minutes via S-F's rival 07744 providers. There are plenty of 0844 and 0871 callthrough routes that could be used with that new T-mobile contract, which doesn't have fixed inclusive minute amounts, but value. So a majority of mobile subscribers have cheaper options.0 -
I think the new t-mobile contract with credit instead of minutes I think it does not still include non geo numbers0

See this post here on Niftylist site which says how you can use the new tariffs to call NGN numbers.
