Hi Lemma - just caught up with some of your last posts. I'm so pleased the pressure of threats about your payments not being acceptable has been lifted.

You have been amazing throughout, don't you ever forget that!

Well done on all the payments. I am also so pleased for you that they saw you were doing your best, and continued the arrangement. It still annoys me that they went after someone who WAS paying rather going after someone who wasn't:mad:.

Wow to your doing so well with getting to your target. And you still have half a year to go as well.

Sorry for being thick but if you reach your target of 20k will that mean that you have caught up with the tax man then, and you can start getting ahead of the game?

How did things go with OH and job hunting/getting? Hope that is going ok

we have been on holiday in spain in my in-laws apartment for the last 10 days. Very warm, and i'm glad to be home tbh. The break was nice though.

I will be up to date once i hit the 20k but, and its a big but, i probably wont get there before the next payment on account is due in January 2012. Darnit. Its a never ending struggle.

My hubby has now graduated from uni, but he has not yet got a job. He has made some applications though so thats a good thing. Its unclear how long he will be able to work for though. Since his diagnosis 2 years ago i have seen a clear deterioration in his day to day functioning, primarily his walking and lifting etc. I am trying to stay positive and pray that it will not progress much more but the neurologist has said that only time will tell.

Some people may think i am being foolish when i say this, but i think God only gives you what he thinks you can handle. I'm hoping that he takes the view that we have had our fair share and gives us a break.

Thanks for your support guys xxx

  • Glad you managed to get a break.

I don't think you are foolish but at times I have questioned why us because sometimes you feel God is pushing you too far the only consolation is that when you face the hard stuff and get through it you are stronger for it. I hope things start improving for you soon.

Thinking of you, Lemma. I agree with DT that hard times make us stronger, but I understand how tiring it is. Sometimes it feels like we have far more hard times to deal with than others!! Take care, big hugs xxx One day at a time xxx
