Hi Lemma, I just wanted to post my congratulations to you, you have worked so hard at paying this back and I know how much effort that takes. Also how stressful it all is, thinking you're getting somewhere but not quite making it and then the buff (not buff in the nice sense of the word) envelope dropping through the letterbox to spoil your weekend. We have had a similar scarey tax scenario, self employed erratic earnings, huge tax bill then also trying to make payments on account. We have recently been a subcontractor and have had tax taken off our invoices so now we are paying in advance too.
Well done Lemma you are getting there, keep at it I salute you.:wave:(I know its "I wave to you" but its the closest smiley)

Thanks dnpg - its a never ending slog and i feel like i am working just to pay the tax on account etc rather than to have a life.

I hope that things work out for you. We must all just keep our heads down and get on with it...but its hard.

I know exactly what you mean and all the other stuff is still to be paid too!!!Our tax office said well you know this bill was coming up you should have saved for it...:mad: I know this is a common reaction and I wouldnt discuss it with a lot of people because they just wouldnt understand. We havent had a lavish lifestyle either most of the time it is living hand to mouth.
Anyway Lemma you are getting there, better at this point than a year ago and you will clear this and then be on top of it :T
