Just catching up - sorry you have been feeling so bleurgh over things.

Re the holidays - they will happen. This year we are doing theme parks using Tesco clubcard vouchers, and staying at £19 travelodges along the way, buying food for picnics at Tescos etc. The kids are really looking forward to it. Not quite the Seychelles, but for this year it will have to do!

Re work - yup, can relate to that too. Not in my current job, I hasten to add, but in a previous one. I used to wake up hoping that I had a sore throat, which in turn could turn into a nasty cold......no way to be! I hope that whatever is causing your trouble there can be sorted very soon.

Keep going, and I hope you feel brighter soon x

Oh Lemma, you sound so down. Don't give up, hun. Are you sleeping ok? Lack of sleep has a huge impact on my mood if i'm feeling down anyway. Do you have anyone you can talk to and offload?

You're going great guns with your payments.

    Hugs for you xxx

A very short post as I am exhausted.

£200 today making my total £5900. Nearly another cuddly number.

By the way, thanks Hypno and Hopeful, I am feeling a bit cheerier today but i suspect that may be because tomorrow is my last day before Easter and then I have a week off. :j No more dealing with bullies.

Working with a bully is an absolutely horrific situation to be in. I really do feel for you.

But as you say, the long weekend is almost here :j

My eldest dd (nearly 10) keeps asking me when we can have a holiday :(

I feel dreadful. I just cannot afford it. The children are doing without because of my circumstances.

We must continue striving and teach our children how to manage life and money so they get the best chance they can to succeed.

Lemma and Hopeful, we used always take the children out every weekend on day trips. We haven't been off for ages so last weekend we decided to take them to the Coast.
They were soooooo happy and kept thanking us over and over for taking them. It made me realise how much they'd missed out until Wise Owl (hypno) reminded me that they learn to appreciate things instead of taking them for granted.

A day here and there at the seaside may be all that's needed and that can be done very cheaply, packed lunch, kites on the beach (bit of paddling in sub-zero waters - bit like the days of Peter and Jane!:D).

Hope the work stress subsides soon. Happy Easter :)

    Hi Guys

I have not been on for a while for a number of reasons.
    1. cashflow has been non-existent - but i have managed to scrape £200 together to make my total so far £6200 think.
    2. My work issues reached a head in April. I have handed in my notice and am moving to a base in another city.

The past few moths have been dreadful. I cannot lie. But I hope that once i have moved (end of July) I shall be able to pick myself up and dust myself off and start all over again in a fresh environment.

So hopefully it shall be onwards and upwards.
