Losing little man yesterday wiped us all out. And no words can ever say how much i am grateful to my sis for taking him to the vets. He was a present to me from my ex husband ten yrs ago. But thanks to my family, because I had to move and was working away he became the family pet. And they have done a remarkable job with him. I could never have given him away to strangers. He was an amazing little character. And wish I could just get it together. Have been in bits since yesterday. But he gave so much pleasure to us all. I will ring you hun and mum and dad, but need to gather myself first.
Thank you, love you sis x x x x x x xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Me too love, me too. One way or another everything will get sorted. We have always been fighters. And it WILL come right in the end. Well they say !!!!!! comes in 3s. 1st someone ran into the back of me last week. Perforated eardrum last thursday and then little man yesterday. A certain person that is not in my life anymore at least left us with a little character to love and cherish. I will hunt the photos out and get them copied. And I know how you feel about taking him to vets. We took Mitzie, and it was the same. That has never left me either.
I have stopped crying but my eyes are leaking like you would not believe. I wish I had someone here last night to give me a massive hug.
I wish I could have a bottle of wine, but seeing as I am on a rake of antibiotics for my ear its perhaps not a good idea. Really want this pain to go away. In every way x x x x x x xNight Owl Member No 1 :rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi Lemma
I noticed you hadn't been on pad for awhile.
Big big hugs to you about your dog I know exactly how you feel - happened to me last year with my George - he had prostate cancer. He was only 8!!
He was fit and healthy one minute and then a week and a half later we had to have him pts. I think I cried more over him than I have for any human, is that bad? It felt and still feels like I've lost one of my kids.
The thing I know tho is that I gave him the best life, I just wish I could've had him a few more years.

Thanks GBN, its been a horrid week. I have been so upset and i can't quite get my head around how sad i feel. I know this will pass, but i really do miss him. My dad is crestfallen. This little dog was his companion. He cries all the time too.:(
But life has to go on. HMRC will not wait for me to get a grip.
So, £300 today as catch up as i have been working away, to make my total £5000 so far this year. A nice round cuddly number.2013 TARGET £30k

Keep going Hun :T-
For you and Smashed...xxxx
If it should be that I grow frail and weak,
And pain should keep me from my sleep,
Then will you do what must be done,
For this, the last battle, can't be won.
You will be sad I understand,
But don't let grief then stay your hand,
For on this day, more than the rest,
Your love and friendship must stand the test.
We have had so many happy years,
You wouldn't want me to suffer so.
When the time comes, please, let me go.
Take me to where to my needs they'll tend,
Only, stay with me till the end
And hold me firm and speak to me,
Until my eyes no longer see.
I know in time you will agree,
It is a kindness you do to me.
Although my tail its last has waved,
From pain and suffering I have been saved.
Don't grieve that it must be you,
Who has to decide this thing to do;
We've been so close,we two, these years,
Don't let your heart hold any tears.
