OMG - it was lovely but i literally staggered back to the car where my OH was waiting.

The restaurant (in Harvey Nicks) cocked up so we ended up with a free bottle of wine, and coffees and our set menu food was free!!! We had to pay for the other alcohol and the side orders. The bill went from being over £220 to £100!!! for the 4 of us.

We did over imbibe on the wine though. I was out for the count at 8.30 last night :p

We sat down at 1.30 and we left at 6.50...no time to shop.....thank goodness.

I am now going to go and have a refreshing cup of green tea and a tylex!

Oh wow - I haven't had such boozy afternoon for absolutely ages. (It's off the agenda completely until after next March, because of the pregnancy). Glad you had a great time.

Well done on the much reduced restaurant bill :T Are you now off work for a bit? If so, I hope you are recharging your batteries x

I am trying to recharge my batteries.

But today I made the fatal mistake of taking 2 x 9yr olds and one 2 yr old to The Deep in Hull!

    OMG

    I need another drink!
