Does anyone have any idea what the Palm Beach Rotana Inn is like? There are some hotels in Dubai that are for the 'night ladies' shall i say?! Want something that is suitable for the family. Im getting it for £48/night. Good price but have no idea what its like.
  • Let us know if you come up with any good deals. I just want somehere clean that's not a building site.
    Thanks

thanks for the reply. Just having a look on the site u suggested. Wherever i ask, people seem to mention that i will get a better deal once i get there. Might just cross my fingers and do that.......unless there is a hotel who can keep provisionla bookings till the last minute.
Maybe you could book your first night at a hotel and sort the rest out when you get there, if you get stuck always gives you a day to sort something out.
2p off is still 2p off!

Bit strange that Palm beach is not listed on https://www.rotana.com although there are mixed reviews on https://www.tripadvisor.com why not post the question on their forum Ive always found it excellent. What about Golden sands they're quite cheap but I think theres about 10 different ones and you have to be careful where you stay for the reasons you previously stated.

thanks for your help and advice NellieA. Am just about to visit https://www.tripadvisor.com.
  • Trip Advisor is great but you end up not going anywhere. There's always someone got a bad word for it. I stayed in a really nice hotel in Madeira. It had been slated on Trip Advisor.

Wherever you go someone will always have a gripe, but i've always been able to get a rough idea what somewhere is like from there and the local knowledge on the Dubai forum is excellent.
