Text only mobile deal

I'm looking for a mobile which I can use for texting only.
Will be sending out regular texts to a group- and as I'm out and about I won't always have access to the PC which I now use to send my bulk SMS messages.
I will need to send out about 500 texts a month.
The phone will need to have a facility to send to a group of contacts at once.
I believe some networks do a text only tariff?
All advice would be greatly appreciated.
Obviously want to keep the costs down as low as possible.

Upon further reflection, I have a handset I could use- so perhaps all I'm looking for is a good SIM only deal?
And maybe PAYG is better than a monthly option?

orange do a tarrif where u get 3000 text a month for £20.00 a few phones free on that tarrif also some include £50.00 air time credit hope this helps
