I ran the drivers disc and it checked which drivers were on the laptop and were available, all I did was to install those which were wanted.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

I have a Dell 530
When I had to reinstall the OS, the network adapter driver was missing (and a couple of others)
I tried the ' drivers and utilies' disc but it they weren't on there either....I had to download them from the Dell website0 -
Sorted
Press F2 upon bootup - it was 'disabled' - so I 'enabled' it and its firing nicely.
Thanks to all0
