New Dell PC - Will NOT connect to internet!

  • I ran the drivers disc and it checked which drivers were on the laptop and were available, all I did was to install those which were wanted.
    I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.

    I have a Dell 530
    When I had to reinstall the OS, the network adapter driver was missing (and a couple of others)
    I tried the ' drivers and utilies' disc but it they weren't on there either....I had to download them from the Dell website

    Press F2 upon bootup - it was 'disabled' - so I 'enabled' it and its firing nicely.
