    Hi folks

    Hope you are all well

I have that Friday feeling, and cannot be bothered to do anything! However I have cleaned out 2 more kitchen draws and dumped the rubbish, wipe out and repalced the items that I want neatly!

Today I am pretty much pain free from the 'dry socket',
I feel normal and I managed to get a little flying done yesterday.:j

    Wiped sink,

    DW x2

    WM x2

    Washing put into baskets

    Wet washing hung out

Dry washing folded and put in piles.

    Floor swept and wiped.

15 more items decluttered and binned.

    Table wiped

    Worktops wiped

    Kitchen stuff put away

    LR Table tidied

    Cushions plumped

    Bins emptied and disinfected.

It's been a bit of a month has January and I'll be glad to say bye to it.;)

Started off well with us being on hols, but jet lag, tooth issues for both myself and OH, dry socket, empire direct going bust with a loss of £250 to us, then the car getting towed with a loss of £250 and a traumatic experience, a library fine, a Sorn fine, well it's quite frankly been chit (with an S).

But I've found the ongoing support here has been invaluable so thanks again, it has been really appreciated.

To all those who are going through it at the mo, whether emotionally or physically or financially, stick with it, we'll collectively try to support you as much as we can, I'll pay it forward as much as possible and never underestimate the power of those virtual hugs.:D

  • Not done much flying this week. Been out a lot and trying to keep busy and worked Monday, Wednesday, Thursday so done a few bits in between. Not really felt up to much TBH, felt quite emotional the last few days. I feel a bit better today. My Grandads funeral will be on Wednesday but really not looking forward to it as I know how upset I'll be and I think that just makes it even more final.

On a positive note though I did my tax return yesterday so that's in on time and I sent my 2002/3 tax credit claim form by special delivery so it gets there today. Having spoken to someone at the tax office it looks like we might get the higher payment of about £1,000. Fingers crossed but not relying on it.

Here's what I have done though (not today but crossing it off if its been done this week!)

    Friday - flyday
    Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and vacuum floors in childrens and spare rooms[/STRIKE]
HH-do something for YOURSELF!!!!!!! Hair colour and cut tomorrow so will count that and might go for a run Sunday morning.
    Level Two
wash any bedding that needs it
    [STRIKE]collect the dirty laundry[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]drag the junk from under the bed and deal with it as necessary![/STRIKE] None there anyway!
    Level three
    binbag dance
find 10 things that are outgrown to give away/sell
[STRIKE]put all disc back in the correct boxes[/STRIKE]
    Extras
    1. [STRIKE]sort through the school uniform.. get rid of outgrown stuff and bin dead stuff[/STRIKE]
    2. wash any sticky marks from the room
    3. [STRIKE]wash any grotty stuffed creatures[/STRIKE]
    4. [STRIKE]delete 5 unwanted contacts from your mobile phone!![/STRIKE]
The house doesn't look too bad even though I've not done much. Trying hard to keep it tidy though.

((((((MOJT)))))) and for anyone else who needs one.

Going to check if my lunch is ready.

I'm ready for the gasman- could really do with doing some more dishes but my shoulder and hip are aching so I'm stopping for now.

I've had an offer on a pair of boots I've got listed on ebay - I put a BIN for £50 as they cost me £60 but I've never worn them except to try them on twice, and someone has counter offered me £36 +P&P  I'm going to sit on it overnight, I have 48 hours to respond anyway.

Right, what to do next.... I think some ISP email clearing probably :o

    That's good news Triker

Holly sorry I have flunked the HHC - when I move I feel really rotten - but I have wiped down the worktops in the kitchen and swept and mopped the floor. Thank goodness I clean it properly most weeks - because what is, in effect, a S&S has made it presentable - well that and the ongoing flinging/recycling.
I have put the heating on - head throbbing - I'm shivering and I cannot do more than the bare minimum. I am pooped.
I MUST however make the beds and I think I will go and have a bath.
    ***coughs pathetically***~cof~ ~cof~
Nicki - what's the minimum you would have - ask them to up it to - say £40 + P&P...or make 'em sweat!
