Morning all,
Hugs Triker, what a nightmare! Glad i live in Scotland, it is illegal to clamp here. I would definately speak to the police about the damage, at the very least you will need a reference number for your insurance.
Hope everyone else is well, dont think i'll get much flying done today, i must clean out the bunny, she is whiffy. And i need to wash my uniform for work.
Have a lovely day peeps. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Morning everyone,
Have just caught up with thread. Hugs for Diva and sunnygirl.
Hugs for Triker too. And anyone else that needs them.
No flying for me yesterday or the day before and now as usual I have a big long list to do. So I think I might take I a bit at a time.
Oh I have a little excitement in my life for a brief time this morning. I'm going to have my hair cut at long last.:D Hasn't been done since May last year. I got in from work yesterday, looked in the mirror and concluded that I was doing a very good impression of Worzel Gummidge and that something had to be done about it right now.:o Plus once it's been cut I can dye it to get rid of the silver bits that are coming through at a frighteningly rapid rate of knots:eek:
Right of to find a list to play with. Back in a bit.
Oh pleased that Tabitha is home too!!:T0 -

Morning ladies,
Can't sleep so came to check my emails but nothing from America. Can't decide if that is good or not. My head tells me it isn't but I have no proof of that so will keep focussing hard...
I must thank you all for your thoughts and wishes for Tris, I know they must help him, they certainly make me feel much better to know he is getting that support from you all.
My OH just put a nice beef stew into the slow cooker, first time we have used it in ages. The lid broke but my OH found an oval plate in a second hand shop that sits perfectly on the top so we are back in business again!
Found myself sorting out the draw next to my bed around 0400 this morning as a displacement therapy. My OH groaned about the light being on but soon went back to sleep. Found a packet of my painkillers that I didn't know I had so that was useful.
I will call back when I have news.
Warm gentle hugs to everyone who might want one today
Diva.xTo be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -
note to self - AnWsMum can lay floor tiles...bet she's cheap LOL
I prefer inexpensive:rotfl::D
Soappie it was the first time I had ever laid tiles. DH and I were going to have a go as the builders put lino in originally. We never quite got the courage up but when I had the leak in the kitchen after DH died I had to do something about it. Mum and Dad showed me how to start off and then I just carried on and did it all myselfTook about 3 (long) days in total including the grouting. Cutting the tiles was fine I used a diamond cutting machine which I picked up at the tile shop for about £30. From memory I knackered 2 tiles but managed to use some of the bits round the edges. I was nervous about giving it a go as it is a large area but am really pleased with the results. When I get the fllor completely clear I shall do a pic for you
Right better find out where exactly the branch is and where I can park before I leave!
Have a good day everyone xxOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Morning all
Bit of luxury extra time this morning - I could either time my journey to arrive at my meeting 30 mins early or just on time...i went for the second option and hope I won't regret it and that everything is running on time!!
Had a long chat with friend on phone last night but didn't do the bathroom (oops), it's ok though so will wait til sat. Out tonight after work having coffee at ikea with my other friend and probalby her 6 week old and then tomorrow best mate is coming to London for the day and I have the day off. So a busy friendy time for me!!
Will fly later though, and hopefully a bit in the morning. the place looks pretty good at the moment but I want to keep it that way!
triker - it's so annoying and upsetting, just what you didn't need. No advice to add to what others have said, def write a witness statement as Soappie says, I will try and ask the highways people I sit with at work for any advice.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -
