wow, i didn't even think of that :T - cheers!
unfortunately the crack is in the bottom of the toilet itself - and my guess is it's the permanently crashing down of the toilet seat by rushing children
and 2nd unfortunately it's the one in the utility room (white) and not in the bathroom (avodaco!!!)

    dang!!!!

but thanks for thinking of me :kisses3:

Are you SURE it wasn't done by one of the kids dropping something down there?????;)

Mudbath, is your children's headmaster being a bit of a pain? Like everyone seems to be saying, definitely speak to governors - they have a big say and should come down hard if they can. I will try to read back further to find out what's happened... hugs to you and the littlies...

Not caught up on thread yet - out since early and not back until after 9pm so not had chance, but it seems everyone is having a bad day, so hugs to all who need it - I thought the candle website was lovely so have lit one for whoever needs it... take care all And to those of you who need it - hope the link works...

Your floor tiles look almost identical to the kitchen tiles I laid approx 15 months ago :D this is the point where I read further and find you hate them :rotfl:

No, no I love them:T They are Karn Dean (sp?) and will probably be the only things I don't rip out and / or change if we go ahead with revamping the whole area. Cleaning wise they don't show up the muck and the dogs claws don't damage them. I've got them all through the ground floor - Kitchen, ultility room, hallway and toilet so I would be in big trouble if I went off them:D

Triker - HUGE hugs to you, what a really awful experience.

Pigpen - Loving tomorrows list and can not wait for the cuddle update.

I'm really glad so many of you are enjoying the candle website it honestly gives me a lot of comfort too.

Heres the link again in case anyone missed it

AnW's Mum have you managed any flying today - are you organised for the Godfather visit???

I have done some flying, scratches head while trying to think what!

    Oh yes...

Finalised and paid the tax owing
WM and TD on x 2
TD x 2 folded so no ironing there
    Unloaded DW
    Cleared half of the stairs
Reconciled my bank statement to money
    Swimming lessons for W

Not a lot else but I have maintained (ie not messed up!) previous areas :rotfl:

By no means prefect but will be good enough..... I hope! Still a couple of evenings before he arrives ;)

I am working at another branch tomorrow as they are short staffed but it has already been negotiated that I leave early (further form my own branch) to ensure that I am home in time for the kids. W has his first Beavers session tomorrow night.

Oooooo just had an email from Mum and Dad, they are having a great time. Walked the higher route over the Sydney Harbour Bridge (unfortunately in the rain :( )and toured the Opera House. They are awaiting a flight to NZ now. :D

Phew that's a relief lol I have no idea what they are called as when I was looking for floor tiles we looked at loads. The prices ranged from £20/sqm to £75/sqm and guess which ones I liked! That was until I saw the ones I finally chose. They were end of line and just £10/sqm :D and to my mind they were prefect for the job, the cheap price was an added bouns. To do the floor including grout etc cost me just over £220 and I have about 18 tiles spare jic

Found a pic from when I was laying them out to decide which way to lay them and what cuts would be required.

Oh ... and AF arrived today, at last, somewhat half-heartedly (I'm sure she'll make up for it) about 2 weeks late. It explains why I've been so ... erm... forceful... at work this week :o but it appears to have got results so I might try it more often.

    Sleep well everyone!

toochoosey if there is one thing I would recommend, as a newbie to it myself, get your last service done a little early to ensure any claim is mad before warranty ends. Fingers crossed there won't be anything needed but I always do that with cars too, get them checked just before warranty ends!
Triker, I know I have said it before, good luck
Chunters a lot - looks like a nightmare, we had a bowl smash, DP put the hammer through it
Mudbath I'd have done the same thing
Justamum well done and good luck

Thanks for the crossed fingers and positive vibes, just hoping the wait isn't too long

Decided to stop flying/studying and decorate tonight, doors to start with, more to do but so pleased with this one. Now they are washable!

Physio tomorrow, fingers crossed it's not a pull me this way and that way assessment.

    Night all x
One day I might be more organised...........

Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb
  • AnW'sMum - Yep, I think they are the same, well spotted - I just had another look at my photos and I can bearly make out the tiles myself:D You got them at good price. Just realised I might need to do some flying in the utilty room tomorrow to see if we have enough spare tiles to cover the gap if we tear down the wall:D

Carol - good luck with your exams today
Lil-me - hope the physio's not too painful
AnW'sMum - laying tiles? I'm seriously impressed! Was it easy? How did you do the cutting? My kitchen, which I had built nearly 7 years ago now STILL has the cheap end roll of vinyl I got from B&Q and put down as an interim measure..... It really is beginning to fall apart.

Another day, another dollar. Hope you all have a good one. I will fly when I get home
