Thanks for all the posts on sunday about the M.E. it was very interesting and PF i think it was who posted the scale? Well i can def identify with the 70%ish mark... sorry cant remember what it was.

APOLOGISES AS HAVENT READ MUCH ELSE OF THE THREAD....

I didnt post yesterday or fly as spent the day busy at the dentist (:( :(:( finally took the plunge after 9 years and wish id never gone... every other word was "cavity" and she said "theres alot of work to be done there" and told me to come back next week.. no idea what for but im dreading it as she wasnt very nice!).... then i had avon bits too do..... and then we went to the shops. OH was off so spent day with him mostly.

Awfully glad he was off as there was a death in his work yesterday and he would have been one the main witnesses/first to deal with it being due to nature of his job..... as it was one his best friends off his team was doing overtime and she was first on the scene after seeing it happen so she was really shook up so they spent some of last night chatting on the phone and then he come spoke to me about it.....kinda wish he hadnt as its really got to me.. i dont know why as we didnt know the person who died... but thought of what happened and that one our best friend had to deal with it has upset me. How silly is that?! :o:o:o

Anyway... off to carry on flying.... so far have
    • put 2 plastic crates of "ironing" away,
    • done 2 WM loads
    • put TD on
    • generally pottered

I meant to ask that last week.... and promptly forgot! I'd love to know, even google didn't sort me out with that one!

ETA : Thanks Pink, it's lovely to know my friend's nipper is still on the prayer list. He's had a few ups and downs, is still very poorly, but I think it would be fair to say that he's holding his own. :)

They're females of ill repute that I ship in from the USA! Ok, i'm lying!!! For my birthday a friend gave me an electric tart burner. Tarts are wickless, fragrant wax that you put in the top of an oil burner or tart burner. I've never used them before but actually really like them. They're cleaner than burning candles and, I guess, less of a fire hazard. I bought some new ones because they were on offer! I'm going to use the burner in the caravan when we get it but until then i'm trying some of the fragrances out! xx

Well I'm off downstairs to make and eat an early lunch (have to leave for work at 12) and then do the washing up which I didn't do in the last HHC. See you all either this evening or tomorrow evening (working all day tomorrow and will aim to go to the gym afterwards as I'm trying to do one day there, one rest day etc).

    Byeeee, Happy flying,

    sexymouse xx

PS If anyone has a good carrot and coriander soup recipe they've tested, could they please send it to me in a PM, as mine has gone missing in the move. :(

  • Thanks for that Mudders as I read your explanation I realised that google had indeed provided me with the answer, and I had forgotten as promptly as forgetting to ask in the first place.... if that makes any sense whatsoever

Johanne - massive hugs about DH's work. How awful! First of all well done for going to the dentist. Secondly, if you're not happy with the dentist can you change? I spent years with a dentist that I really didn't like and she had no sympathy about my phobia. Eventually I changed and now, whilst I don't enjoy the dentist, I'm ok about going. Hugs to you xx

I've got lemon lavender burning and it makes the house smell clean!!!

I'm going to do my next 60 in 60 (I like that name whoever renamed it!) by sorting out the junk drawer at the bottom of the stairs xx
