aww thanks for that - it's the bit I hate because I have to assume a false persona if you get my drift...nevertheless I do think it appropriate to do and it offers a time for reflection.

Milliejo you sure you have your own OH in there and not a double? :rotfl:

Monday - kitchen and utility mess
    Level One
    Continue to dejunk utility room
    Level Two

    Level Three
    Extras
    1. Wash the long window & deal with the plants
    2. HHI
    3. clean out the vacuum cleaner.. wash the filters and when dry replace them! Will need to wait till morning as it will need emptying and I'll have to deal with the filters etc. in the utility room and have some stuff on the draining board at the moment...
Tuesday - Living room, hall and stairs!
    Level One

    Clear and wipe surfaces
Hoover the sofa... once the hoover has been cleaned!

    Wipe leather chairs
    Level Two
    Wash windows
Vacuum under furniture you can move...

    Level Three
Wash any soft furnishings that are in need (check throws & cushion covers)
Sort through coats and bags and shoes etc
    De-web and de-fluff the room
    Extras
    1. wipe and water any plants
    2. 32 fling boogie!
    3. Fill a binbag of swag for charity shop
    4. Wipe all the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs!
    My extras:

Pay tree surgeon - will have to ring... still can't find the invoice :o TUESDAY
Organise Friday (visit bed showroom, Royal Academy)
Buy laundry bleach, screen wash and matches
Think of fundraising ideas for ribbon walk (apart from selling excess wedding cake test batches at work!)
Christening present... I'm sure there's something around somewhere that will do ;)
    Wrap presents
    Governing body gap analysis
Wash & store remaining dog bedding
    Finish clearing study
    Make decision on bed (Friday)
Decide date for Ikea - Friday 6th after work
Agree date to finish utility room

I'm pleased with the progress that I've made, and due to the fact that I did most of last week's list at the weekend, I should be able to get away with a S&S for most things during the week and really focus my time/effort on the study and utility room (and have just remember that there are some clothes that need sorting/filing lurking on the chair/blanket chest in my bedroom :o ).

Pigpen - great news on the cheque

Nicki - you've got your priorities right. You need to sit down and plan how you're going to get yourself fit and healthy for your DD. That's the MOST important thing. Good luck, you know we'll all be here to support you.

Rosepink - well done on getting your kitchen surfaces clear. Now aim to keep them that way before you try to get any further.

milliejo - well done on the conversion of your OH. Make the most of it, but don't expect it to last  he'll return to normal soon enough

soappie & valli - you need to examine your consciences very thoroughly and think about some ethical investing.

    Thanks girlies - much appreciated...

ah well Greenbee - there was a method in my madness (edited out now!)

Bear in mind I do my best to be green - even bringing home stuff from work like foil from dinners and spent batteries for recycling...

G'night Greenbee et al! Sweet dreams!

Toots you are on strict orders to take it easy tomorrow ;) Glad you had a good day out with your friend.

My main tasks for tomorrow are to double check the amount and pay any tax due and sort the car insurance. Who knows I might even do some proper flying :p

  • Evening Toots  I'm really well thanks babes. I hit Ikea today. I've decided to stop waiting for Mr Shattered's enthusiasm for new storage/furniture/decorating etc etc! So I whizzed off with my best mate, and bought new storage for the bedroom, another storage unit for the girls' room, a new recycling unit for the kitchen, new lampshades and a new mat for the hallway!!! Major budget bash!!! But to hell with it, I'm sick of fitting things round stuff that's broken/obsolete. No more... so there!!! :p HA!!!!! :D

ETA: I'm staying out of that one.... ethics are a tricky topic, and I'm not known for my moderate views! My friends get bashed into submission, so I try to be a little less vocal on here.... try being the word... sometimes my goat is well and truly got, and I have to comment. Night Valli, night Greenbee Sleep well both of you. ;)
