Like Triker said, I'm frightened as we often end up in the Oh Dear's, so didn't want to be cut off with DD's etc waiting to be paid.
Not sure what to do know, whether I should write the first letter again or what?
Write to them again, they can't close your account just because you are putting a claim in. All claims are on hold again until July (I think it is) so you won't get a refund before then at the earliest and they won't close your account either. The crux of the argument is not about the charges themselves but about the level of those charges and whether they represent a true reflection of the extra work involved by the banks.
natty68 wrote:huge *hugs* hon, your MIL sounds a right wotsit. Although in some way by not contacting you maybe it was her way of not actually facing up to the fact that it was her son's birthday, although this doesn't help you as you want the support and want to know that she is there for you. Unfortunately this can happen.. But no contact at all since A's birthday, and not to even acknowledge W's birthday..hmmm very strange.
DH's birthday, along with his age, was on her calendar. What got to me more about the whole thing was that my Mum and Dad called on DH's birthday to see how I was and they were halfway round the world! Anyway let's all omve on, it is not worth wasting more time or emotion on, those that are bothered about us let us know and that is good enough for me
And you are a naughty girl for putting that Yankee link up!I could spend a fortune there.
Happy Anniversary Rach
Mozzy hugs for you, when it gets like that sometimes it is worth wrapping them up and letting them out in the rain to splash about, once they are wet they are wet! Lots of kids love the rain and playing in it and it wears them out
Right first job done, been to the GP's. Back on the iron tabs, iron count is slightly lower but nowt to worry too much about.

Oooh *goes for a nosy*
Going to try to get rid of some clutter today.
Will also have a shufty att the bank charges thread too. I need some courage, I went to pieces re that tax credit form last night because I couldn't remember some key dates and to be frank the thought of getting embroiled in government agencies and getting things wrong terrifies me. I've been treated really badly by them in the past and get really wobbly about them.
Same with the banks, I don't have the tenacity/confidence to fight them off when they get heavy, I'm all for a stress free lifeBut I'll give it a go.
Pink fairy do you want to join the challenge of getting paperwork sorted. I think there's a few of us assessing what needs doing, we can all ssupport each other.:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
