I keep my money in one of these and lend money out to my parents at a competitive rate.Fingerprint_Safe_D_44ZW.jpg

Very easy to fit in the vast majority of cases
Famous last words - doesn't look as easy as I'd hoped. I may butter the IT guy up at work - some people will do anything for a bacon butty!

A fivers a fiver Thomas - I just emailed them now to ask about the pins! :p
  • It may be I am just wondering about the quality of the RAM. sometimes you gets whats yous pays for. At least Kingston is a quality product

Is it? I've never heard of them. But was thinking the same - I've been happy in the past with Ebuyer.

Thanks very much both of you for your help - I'll let you know how I get on.

Your mobo will take up to 2Gb of DDR400 ram

Funky giraffe did get it right this time, £15.26 for 1Gb and you can get two to go in your mobo, costing £30.54. It's IBM branded
  • OOh thanks all,
    much appreciated

Fitting memory chips is easy as pie. It might LOOK daunting, but they will only fit where theyre supposed to, they only fit one way round and are held in by a clip either end. My little 10 yr old sister could manage that im sure. You seriously cant go wrong.
The only problem I possibly forsee is if somethings in the way.
