It may be I am just wondering about the quality of the RAM. sometimes you gets whats yous pays for. At least Kingston is a quality product

Is it? I've never heard of them. But was thinking the same - I've been happy in the past with Ebuyer.

Funky giraffe did get it right this time, £15.26 for 1Gb and you can get two to go in your mobo, costing £30.54. It's IBM branded

Fitting memory chips is easy as pie. It might LOOK daunting, but they will only fit where theyre supposed to, they only fit one way round and are held in by a clip either end. My little 10 yr old sister could manage that im sure. You seriously cant go wrong.
The only problem I possibly forsee is if somethings in the way.
