Hi Thomas
Thanks - they do seem bit cheaper than Ebuyer.
Is any 266MHz PC2100DDR compatible? Does it matter about the CL2 or CL2.5 or the Non-ECC? And what about DDR2 or DDR3?

Is it not 184 pins as in this one?Red_Rose_Exile wrote: »Thomas,
the fact that they can't get the number of pins right on DDR ram would put me off straightaway, they may not even send the right one!

ECC is unnecessary. Non ECC is virtually standard these days
DDR2 and DDR3 are incompatible as they have different numbers of pins
DDR2 and DDR3 have 240 pins
CL2 is CAS2 RAM and is 1 clock cycle faster tha CL2.5. It is advisable to have the same clock cycle if you have two sticks or more. CL2 is better if you are a computer, otherwise you wouldn't perceive any difference0 -
Says 184 pins in the name must just be a mistake could always email. I order 2gb from them awhile ago they were fine.0

It is zebra, but if you look down the page it says pins: 200
So which is it? I know that there is no such thing as 200 pin RAM, unless it is SO-DIMM. but blatent errors like that make me worry about everything about a site.0 -
Ah yes - I just spotted that too - how strange - as you say not the greatest confidence booster!
I've oredered before from Ebuyer, and was very happy, so probably just go for one of the 512MB to start with, and see how that improves things before geting another.
How easy are they to fit?0 -
Thomas, you probably right, it most like is 184 pin and they have been using a generic page to list the items, but it is such an obvious mistake, you'd rectify it0

Very easy to fit in the vast majority of cases
Have a read of this0 -
