she just recieves the basic income support for herself and her daughter she doesnt get dla i think its about 110 a week with the family premium
and her hb and ctb
Do you know if her moving home will affect the tax credits that my husband and myself recieve
Im sorry but that is wrong! you do not get £110 a week in income support!..income support is £60.50 a week...she will be getting £110 week for everything-income support, child benefit AND child tax credit. There is no single mother in the country who doesnt get all of those things.
And no none of her benefits,or yours will be effected by her moving into your house.
ok?Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
thats the full amount she recieves weekly and she get child benefit every month and it must include her child tax credits as she just recieves that amount every week in her income support and no other benefits are paid seperatley0
-
she has 110 a week and then her child benefit every month if that makes sense0
-
Right like i said already she gets £60.50 income support..the rest is child tax credits...there is no one in the country who gets more than £60.50 in JUST income support.
Anything extra she gets is made up from OTHER benefits such as CHILD TAX CREDITS.
you originally asked if yours or your daughters benefits will be effected-the answer is no as i said previously.you will both continue to get the same ammount of benefits as you do now if she moves back home.Having a coke with youis even more fun than going to San Sebastian, Irun, Hendaye, Biarritz, Bayonne
or being sick to my stomach on the Travesera de Gracia in Barcelona0 -
sorry it was my mistake i didnt make it clear i just know she got around 110 a week + child benefit
thanks for your time and your advice
Damsel i might follow your advice and take something of her every week and give it back when they eventually move out into there own place again0 -
Please excuse Damzel's complete lack of manners shanaz01, we're not all like that! If you need any clarification, feel free to post again xGone ... or have I?0

Is it a good idea for your daughter to give up (I am assuming) a council property? With the housing situation the way it is she may have real trouble getting another home when the time comes.0
-
hi she is not in a council house its a private rented house and we pay the extra 15 pounds a week so she can stay in it she has been waiting for a council house since before her daughter was born lol0
