  • An original order on the 3rd November has been returned to the warehouse 3 times, lots of promises, lots of speaking to supervisors who 'will definitely call with an update' etc etc. Apparently their service transfers over to the Malta office at 9pm, again more promises to sort, ring back etc etc.
Plus a courier who should have left cards in my block of flats 6 times when she "attempted to deliver" and didn't leave a single one...
If you want a laugh go to:
    http://www.redoute.co.uk/sEditoUK/0,3065,services%7CcomplaintUK%7C266,00.html
but don't bother ringing their complaints line on 01924 743650 as it's actually their credit line, which I found out after holding for 23 minutes the other night. Don't bother sending an email either because they didn't have the decency to reply to either of mine.
When I told them that I NEVER wanted to deal with them ever again, they told me that it would take 3 months to take me off the mailing list.

I was told that I couldn't return by royal mail as I was in courier delivery area.

Oh, I always return by Royal Mail even though I've got a courier. The people on the phone do get a bit hufty about it, but I tell them I've got no choice - I'm at work when the courier calls.

So I only ring Redoute when I'm making an exchange, and then only mention mode of return if they bring it up. Otherwise, if I'm just making a return but not swapping it for another size etc, I don't ring them at all, I just stick it in the post. They've certainly never tried to impose any extra charges on me for doing that - I'd like to see them try!
  • I must add to the good customer experience list me and my g/f have used them for about 3 -4 years never a single problem, I like their clothes less main stream or dare I say it not at all chavy like a lot of the other catalogues around.

I have been very pleased with all the clothing I have bought, had some great discounts and I do not worry about the P&P look at it this was.

If I go clothes shopping I will go to Bath

So from here that is £6.00 in petrol then hop on the park and ride that is another £1.80 per person if we both go, plus some lunch if we are out all day that could be anyting around £10.00 for something nice.

    So their is £20.00 gone.

The postage for any amount from them is not an issue considering the other costs invloved, also I know they use an 0870 number to order but just look on saynoto0870 :T a nice FF number that I always use.

I send all retuns via the post office and we get great email communication from them all the time.

Also we have had loads of freebies, if we don't want them someone on ebay always does.

Another tip if you order something and do not like it and need an exchange of you are sending something back and want a completely different item call ahead and say you would like to place an exchange order this way you get Free P&P.
