An idea! If people dont like saving theres £2 coins straight off, save your coppers and 5p and whatever and instead of putting them directly into your bank account - exchange them for £2 coins! (An idea, or a cheat, not sure which).
  • Hi to all of you. I've been watching the forums for a wee while now, but finally registered tonight to join the £2 club. OH and I have been doing this already for a number of years, but always lodged the money at about £40. I think it's time I made a break for freedom and started saving a separate hoard - my new Christmas Club! Keep up the great work all of you.

I gave up jogging for health reasons; my thighs rubbed together and my knickers caught fire!

  • can i join too, i got 2 £2 coins the other day and deliberately saved them though on my no spending spree it could be a while before i add to this princely sum of £4! im saving them for spending money for the little holiday were hoping to have as a family from once weve paid off the cc's, once theyre paid off the first month the money we would have used will go on a holiday after that half will go to my dd's trust fund half to our isa's. if we can live without it now we can carry on then cant we!
    anyway total to date £4
