By the way, is it cheating if I specifically request £2 coins? I can get loads from work cos the customers don't like them

1 more for me today and I banked £60 today which was quite satisfying.

And another two for me... bringing my total to £70!

I'll have to bank them soon and put some back in circulation... but, amazingly this is proving harder than it sounds [and NOT because I can't bear to let them go!].

My bank doesn't have counter service on a Saturday [the only day I can get to the bank – I work on a deserted industrial estate in VERY rural area where the nearest banks all close for lunch] and no other bank will EVEN change the coins for me unless I have an account with them...

Oh well, looks like my stash is my own! :D

    That's all folks!

I've noticed a few people saying they can't bank them or there aren't many in circulation.

Who says you have to bank them:confused: Somewhere you normally spend a tenner or a fiver, use you coins;) They'll still count as banked and more in circulation to collect:j
