All my recent acquisitions have been from my lovely husband - he obviously wants to go to Vegas very much, lol, and I've realised why I don't get very many - I don't go shopping very often, and when I do I usually pay by debit card - maybe I should ask for cashback and request it in £2 coins! :)

    Evening all.
None new for me, but just wondered if any of you have gone the same way as me when given a £2 coin?

Now, whenever I get a £2 or a 20p in my change, I no longer regard it as money. The immediate thought is usually "goody, savings!!" Its as though my mind no longer views them as legal tender!!

Good for the savings total though!

Not heavily in debt, but still trying to sort things out.

  • I keep getting £2 coins in twos - and usually when I need cash and there's no cash point, like in the market. I've started "oweing" myself them if I have to spend what I've been given and swapping for them at work when they come in the till. I don't swap more than I owe myself though! When I get a £2 coin I always thing "savings!" but sometimes "yay, savings ... damn, no more cash left!"
Anyway, I'm up to £40 :D, and I haven't even noticed it going out as the weeks progress.
Woah - I've just seen out cumulative total of £2s - :T

I am the same. However, I'm now hoping that there will be a £2 coin in my change! :rotfl:

It's the same for me. I couldn't spend a £2 coin. My local corner shop & post office always ask me if I want them in change now !
