    I should think the mint is having to make shiny new £2's to cope with us lot on here. its great to see so many people join - well done greenfingers. Thats some total we're adding up to!

    Update from me...

    Well, I banked another £40 the day before yesterday - it hurt a bit handing them over the counter... :confused: but really I know it makes better sense to earn a bit of interest on them! Plus, I kind of look at it as releasing them back into the wild for other collectors to catch... ;) Mad? Me? Surely not!!! :rotfl:

    Anyway, I then gained another 4 yesterday, so have £8 sitting in my little pot (which makes me feel a bit better now - it looked very sad when it was empty!) and am happy again. :D

    Haven't updated fopr a few weeks.
    Now up to £54.
    Got 4 coins in one transaction which was difficult because it left me with no cash until I got somewhere that did cashback but I managed to hang onto all 4.

    just been to the shop and asked for £2 coin in the change. None in the till but the young lady behind me said 'I've got one' so I promptly said 'yes please' and swapped it for 2 £1 coins :rolleyes:
