:T :T Dear Greenfingers thanks for the "thanks" that I have received from you. As a new member to using this forum, it can be quite daunting-so much information. I have printed the first five pages of this £2.00 savers club sight for my 2 grown up children 19 and 21 years. I am hoping that it will help them in deciding to save and not just to fritter away their money.
While saving my £2 coins I have also started putting 50p coins aside in a jar whenever I get them, but these are kept for those really skinnt days and I do not have to touch any of my £2 coins. We nearly always have 50p pieces in our purse/wallet.
£2 saving so far £38
20p = £4.95
5p = £5 2p =38p 1p = 36p£2 coins saved £106.:T

Confession time! Finally cracked and spent £64 at the garden centre - but was as happy as larry spending money I'd saved. Also had a lovely afternoon in the garden sunshine!
