I got one at last today after going for a while without one but the only reason I got one is I had to pay cash in Morrisons as I've had to cancel my debit card due to it being cloned :mad:There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.

I have been waiting patiently for another £2 coin to arrive this week, and finally cracked in the Post Office, and asked if I could have one in the change!
The very nice man said I could have several if I liked, but I could only afford the one.
Very pleased to make it to £20 :j
Now I need to find something to keep them in, and decide what I would like to save for.It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

My £2.00 Coin Piggy Bank (see wonderful picture below – hee hee) was starting to get really, really heavy,so I emptied it out and a massive 44 coins are in there saved since last December. I popped into the bank this afternoon and put £50.00 of it into the savings account – hooray.
The balance of 19 coins can stay in there until there’s another £50.00 to bank.
How many £2.00 Coins have you saved…..0 -

They'll hold about £15. Nothing wrong with Bisto tins, if you get burgled I doubt they'll be going for your Bisto.

I haven't managed to find any today, they really are becoming scarce! But I just checked on the Royal Mint website and there are approximately 269million £2 coins in circulation, so we've still got a way to go before we get them all!£2 Coin Savers Club £14 :j (joined 18/2/06)0
