New Channels on Freeview

i rescan mine the other day and lost my radio channels so not a happy bunny dave 1 has been on for quite awhile...i just wish they would add more channels cos nothing worth watching at the mo

We have noticed an increase in sky news' signal.

Previously we were only ever to receive this channel when the weather was bad!!

Yeah bad weather is strangely good for Freeview.

Try scanning on a rainy day, Freeview signals seem to be effected by the weather.

It's due to high pressure, the reason is that currently TV signals travel further then distant analogue transmitters using the same uhf channels as your digital transmitter come into receivable range. These screw up your weak analogue signals. (Co channel interference). Remember the patterns on analogue with the message do not adjust your set.
Therefore as you say on a rainy day when the pressure is lower, you do not get this interference.

Because ITV2 +1 has moved from 27 to 33
