Strange. I get a perfect signal on an indoor aerial.
Asda has a digital indoor for £10 (and a premium one at £25) which works perfectly. I think Wilkinsons have ones even cheaper aswell. It totally depends where you are in the house and where in the country as electrical equipment actually weakens the signal hense sometimes making it unwatchable. We use a indoor one in the attic and have the rest of the house cabled from the roof top arial. If we was to move the indoor arial into the down stairs lounge though we wouldnt get a signal but upstairs/attic its fantastic!

G.O.L.D is only available on Freeview+ and TopUpTV (in terms of freeview not sky etc). You do have to pay extra so getting the scrambled signal isnt an error unfortunately :(

Just an update for those who waited patiently for the Quest channel to launch on the 14th just to be disapointed....taken from questtv.co.uk
    Message from the Quest Team
    14th May 2009 10:00am
Regrettably we have made the decision to postpone the launch of Quest.
Due to a number of commercial factors we have had to make this difficult decision.
We did not make this decision lightly and we are working towards launching Quest in the near future.
We would like to apologise wholeheartedly to any of you that have been looking forward to this launch.

BTW Is it me or is freeview (and the rest of digital providers) just getting worse over the months?

Not just Freeview it's TV in general. Too many channels. Too little advertising revenue. Even ITV and Channel 4 have their backs somewhat against the wall.

Too many shopping and late night early morning "phone in" channels now. As for the +1 channels. I didnt want to watch it the first time round. So what makes you think I want to watch it an hour later.

I cannot stand those god awful gambling, shop and chat channels, if your box or TV has the feature just skip or switch them off. Another pet hate is over repeating series content, I know you can't really blame some of the cheaper channels, but the BBC are just as guilty. What's wrong with a few old movies and series instead of generic make over/antique hunt/cookery/freak show/animal-human rescue and celeb fly on the wall/dance/factor/ice/idol/jungle/musical bint finder/no talent shows. The quality all round has taken a huge dive, both in program content, type and in advert breaks, which repeat so much that they drive you insane. Why do they always seem to repeat just a handful of terrible series instead of the huge back catalogue of classic Brit tv both BBC and ITV, and old Brit movies? I'm also sick of "sponsored by" bookend adverts. I find I spend more these days just buying DVDs of the old shows I want to see than watch tv, which I now only watch for news (even this repeats too much) and BBC F1 coverage, which is 1000 times better than the old ITV rubbish we had to put up with. I think that's also part of it, BBC and others are more interested in selling high priced DVDs than just airing now forgotten classic shows. Even children's shows have become generic, what new rainbow coloured potato faced mutants can we dream up now and milk the parents' wallets?:confused::confused:

I find the + 1 channels useful, so I can record later without running into channel recording clashes, my cheapo PVR only allows two recordings + one viewing at a time

For any interested peeps out there, Quest tv channel has been suspended until at least the summer, according to a spokesman from Discovery.

This is due to the credit crunch apparently (i.e. lack of funds)
