Hi, haven't been around for a while but thought I'd pop into my local to see what new offers were in the ACM - very glad I did. One of the offers is £5 off any product from the protect and perfect skincare range - and it works with a blinkie:j - the very lovely SA was more than happy to try it for me:T . As the P&P serum is now £18.50 - which is the qualifying spend for the new GWP - I'm guessing you could use the ACM voucher & a blinkie and get the serum for £8.50 + the new GWP. I am super skint at the moment so used my ACM voucher and last blinkie to get the P&P hand cream for 25p.

The 90% off sale does not appear to be on. I just got back, the signs said 75% off. I bought an Xmas giftbag just to see how much it would cost -- was 2.50, came up at 62p.
I also got some no7 serum and the new gwp, it's darling! Then used my last blinkie on clearance stuff and totally forgot there is another 250 points voucher in the giftbag that I wanted to use. DOH! But I will say new items had been added to the no7 clearance stand, so make sure to check those each time you're in.
Someone said the next no7 voucher was in April, is that right? This points voucher expires 26/04, so maybe it will still be good then??0 -
Actually, I am sure I saw in the window of a Shop in Victoria St that Lightbulbs are being discontinued
I assume that they only mean in that chain, not everywhere.
off-topic from a Boots perspective but this is true.
I'll try and be brief...
The EU have decided to ban traditional Lightbulbs in favour of low energy bulbs ... but it will not become law (i.e. illegal to sell) until 2016. this applies to 100w, 60w and 40w.
Our government have decided to jump the gun and under a voluntary code of conduct, all major retailers have already stopped stocking 100w bulbs and independents are being leant on to stop by September (in reality it will be sooner as the suppliers to the independents are rapidly running out of supplies).
Next year the 60w will go, and then finally the 40w. I believe that 25w and under are being allowed to remain - at least for the time being.
notwithstanding other arguments about how TRULY green the low energy bulbs are (in terms of overall pollution of the planet and not just electicricity saving), for me they are next to useless as the light they give out is "fake"; the take time to warm up so are not good for "instant" light; and they give me a headache if I try to read under them due to the "present-but-almost-inperceptable" flickering.
so I have stockpiled 100x100w bulbs in the hope that - by the time they are exhausted - technology will have moved on and a new generation of low-energy bulbs will have been created that solve all of the problems (including recycling) of the current product set.0 -

What I hate is the sour grapes attitude of some posts. Not everyone has a divine right to every offer/glitch. It winds me up when I see people posting :mad: smileys just because they've been to a store and they didn't have a certain offer/glitch. Its swings and roundabouts. You don't get something this offer, someone else won't get something next offer.
I'm sorry i offended anyone with asking newbie questions i did actually read the first page of info but as i'm slightly dimmer than most so didn't fully understand it. I used this :mad: smiley simply because i don't like people looking in my purse or bag i know its silly but it offends me. Not because of lack of glitches etc
Oh the free gift is definitely £18 its on the boots website advertised and apparently you can buy some 1/2 No7 electrical stuff to qualify for the GWP.
But since i looked on this thread i have started looking around boots more instead of going to wilkinsons so maybe all these"glitches" will help boots move old stock. Thus hopefully stopping the closure of its stores if more people are going in and buying products.0 -

The new vouchers I *think* were a £5 spend (I spent well over, so not sure).
£5 off facial skincare:
Time Delay (the expensive stuff, not wipes)
L'Oreal (revitalift, Wrinkle decrease)
Olay (definity, regenerist, TE facial suncare)
Nivea Visage (DNAge, expert lift)
