I have had a look but I wonder if anyone knows when the points on herbal essences finishes, it is the only range that does not annoy my scalp but have been ill last few weeks and not made it out.
Not overly bothered by the points if I can find it for a good price!
    Thanks

I think superdrug currently has them on 2-for-1 if you're still looking for them :)

i only just saw your reply thanks, what happenes if you try to get it on wednesday then?

Was it a pink box you saw with a lift up lid and a drawer in the bottom? If it was then that is an old GWP. They had these in my local store today and were selling them for £3.00. The new GWP starting tomorrow is a pink make up bag with flowers on it.

Has anyone else noticed that randomly Boots charge £3.29 for a meal deal??

On my travels, I've found that most suburban branches sell them for £2.99, :j but London and other big cities, charge £3.49. :(
  • I know we all have been debating on how to go forward with this thread, ie, too much chat/ not so much, reporting of glitches which r being picked up by Mr B's 'spies' and so on... I'd like to add this thread also brings together how to maximise pts in a shop, ie, 100pts on Pantene/HE and how they'll work 2wards total spend to earn a blinkie, etc, which has been a lesson to learn for a newbie like 'moi':o and for which I'm very grateful.

Also Mr B does know a Pantene sachet gives 100pts on 97p spend but the sachet is quite expensive as it is n e ways! As posted previously and I have seen them at T's they're only 24p compared to 97p from B's (and T's r not cheap themselves!) and again, someone saw them on sale @ 12p @ S'burys!!! So Mr B is not in the market to loose money too and is aware of many glitches that he's created so we feel we're getting a deal!!

Does it really? Because I got a leaflet instore from a SA on the normal tills last week for £2 off an £8 or more spend on healthcare, which I guess could also be included in combining vouchers etc? This leaflet expires 17/02/09.
Online if you click on pharmacy & health, then travel health, suncare, then choose from either sun protection, aftersun or bronzing/self tan, a list to the left of the page shows No7 products. So dot.com considers suncare to be health products. I have thought of printing out the page to take with me, if it does indeed turn out that these are on BOGOF. As a gwp for such a small outlay would be nice.

Today, I managed to pick up some reduced HE', then used the UG and TS, ACM 150 points vouchers on the minis, they went through, no problem, wish I knew this earlier, (thanks to the op who posted this). This helped me breed 4 more blinkies (lol!) and in turn, with all those points, got me a top up voucher and a lovely bottle of Guerlain Insolence Shimmer 50ml edt, reduced from almost £40 to £10! Smells lovely. Thankyou Mr B!:)

May I also add that I think that some of the chat and info is useful, SS poems and Mimi's/ forthcoming cookbook and pouts are fun and stop the thread being tedious. Other threads are not always as friendly/helpful as this one/ in fact some are down right rude and intimidating to post on. I have never felt that any of my posts have been shot down in flames and it has been fun, reading other bootsters good fortune and sharing my own in order to help others find those bargains. :) Sometimes I think Mr B wants us to help get rid of old stock etc, by way of these glitches and we in turn are spending money to get them, so if one or two glitches get shut down quick, then we shouldn't mind. Another glitch always comes along soon after!

Met my daughter from work and she brought me home. So T & G Model Me is in clearance in some stores so look out for it The styling spray is lovely as I had some from the last Model Me glitch. However SA had to add points manually and the ACM machine only gave me 4 vouchers plus one I already had. Also gave away a hair colour 200 pointer to a young girl from one of the GWP dot.com glitch before Xmas. Happy days. My DD is having a Gavin and Stacy girls night in tommorow so some of the GWP,S are for the girls. Forgot to say I am trying to resist the Lush Grab bag fever!!!

I honestly don't think Mr B need worry about us finding the odd glitch.
Since I have been coming on here I spend 10 times as much in Boots as I used to. I used to get all my heath/cosmetics stuff from Tesco when I had my shopping delivered, or Lush, now i'm always in Boots.

Things like 100 points for a Pantene sachet doesn't really cost Boots anything, because of the profit margin on the product - and because they are only giving 100 points back, not £1 cash.

Also the Olay GPW glitch will probably be costing Olay pennies not Boots- as Olay probably provide the gift to encourage people to spend on Olay products.

I say keep a little bit of chat in here as well, it means finding the bargains takes a bit more dedication! ;)

Just been on the Boots website & its definitely showing the new GWP on an £18 spend.

Looks like there is also 500 points on a £25 spend on certain skincare & Buy 1 get 1 Half Price on Sanctuary Accessories.

There is also a Valentines Gift with Clinique & some offers on selected perfumes (boxes of chocs, etc)

The main pages have the summary details on, but trying to click through to the specifics is only bringing up blank pages at the mo - maybe this will update after 3am?

No mention of any further sales!!

Everything I wanna do is either illegal, immoral or fattening! lol :rotfl:
  • Blimey Rose, you have a fantastic memory! Not only have you multi-shopped, and beautifully listed your purchases and combinations, but absolutely maximised your points - and cleared a lot of Mr B's stock! :T

And actually, that's what we're all doing, aren't we Mr B? I don't think I've ever spent so much in Boots, though granted I've saved a lot, but all these "Shop Number 47, bought blah blah, £5 to pay, used Blinkie, gained points" means we are actually spending dosh to get the items in your stores, and then carrying on doing this. And full marks to Mr B, that's the reason he's in business.

But what I don't understand is this. At the mo, I have £100-worth of goods sitting in my virtual basket, in the faint hope that it'll suddenly go to 90%. Now if it does, I'll feel good, cos I've got a wonderful bargain, and several Christmas presents for 2010, but I'll also clear Mr B's old stock for him, and let's face it, he has to clear it at some point, because otherwise the vouchers for 250 points will be out of date.

Also, he's going to get £10 that I otherwise wouldn't have spent, multiplied by zillions of you who are doing the same, which is better than nowt. Now in my favourites, the P & P white bag set is showing as OOS, but all the other items are apparently available for me to buy at full price.

Does a moment come to him when he puts his head in his hands and says "Lordy Miss Claudie, I've got a million quids worth of stuff in my warehouse, that was worth 10 million quid at full price, that I'm going to have to dump. Boo Hoo" or does he say "Better let my streetwise girls on Grabbit have it for 90% discount, and then I've broken even".

Mr Boots, pray hear us please
We're down upon our bended knees
Think of the money we have spent
Please launch a sale of 90%!
