Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 49 - Post your finds here

Went on a Nappyfest today, as I had DH with me, and he is useful carrying large items to the car! But he would insist on saying silly things at the top of his voice like "Is that a Blinkie, a Winkie or a Pinkie that you're using", and then he looked round to see if anyone had heard,
I found that not only can you get the large packs of Huggies 2 for £16, usually £8.98 a pack, but you also get 200 points, and if you search hard enough, you can find some packets with 25% free! :j
So I worked out that for every 4 packs, not only would I get the equivalent of 5 packs, but they would only cost - in Boots Logic - £28 instead of nearly £45! :T :T
I did 3 transactions, and on each one I got 2 packs of nappies, a No 7 nail & cuticle cream, gave a 250 points No 7 voucher, and a Blinkie, paid £16.50, got a Blinkie back, and earnt 450 points each time.
Then I got another 3 nail & cuticle creams, paid for with Blinkies, and 50p a time. Also found some reduced Herbal Essences in Romford Brewery, but nowhere else, so I then spent my points on 4 more packs of nappies with the 25% free. My DGS will have a fresh & clean bum until May! :T
DH would insist on following me around, watching me examine things and saying "So how many points and Blinkies do you get on that", every single time I looked at anything. Still, his arms were useful for carrying purposes!
In each Romford shop there were still the pink doggy bookends, wrapping paper and cards. Then when I got home, I had a letter from Romford Liberty, informing me about the "new and exciting No 7 items" that would be available next week, and also telling me I could get an extra free gift - but only from that branch.
It wasn't typed on headed paper, obviously just something that particular store was doing to drum up business. So other peeps may be getting such a letter as well. Off to Bluewater on Wednesday - still got Blinkies to use!

i already use the p&p serum, so perhaps this would be serum overkill....0 -
