dammit bromley is now out of all old he (only new on shelf) no clearance no7 must have missed it as ive not seen any on clearance

just got a meal deal triple chicken sanrnie, 2 oasis and a pack of mini eggs and 4 pantene to get a blinky for the new gwp (whens it out again) got 416 back in points today and now have £110.89 in points on my card, sa couldnt beleave how much i have on it said its most she has ever seen as lots of people save enough points for a choc bar

didnt tell her that over £100 of them is from jan alone buying he and pantene sachets, going to try and play dumb to take the pantene sachets back

If you want to keep it anyway, you *could* call and complain and see if they can send a replacement. They will most likely say no (as there may be no more stock), so then suggest some other compensation, like points. If you don't want to keep it broken, you could call and complain of all the inconvenience of waiting for a package only to have it come damaged, and now you have to go to trouble to return it to a store. Then ask for points for the trouble before you return it.

But first, think about how bad the problem is and if you really need compensation of some sort. It really is not a good idea to call CS for little things -- save it for something that seems more important or more likely that they can fix. Some people call often and get help every time, while others have called only a couple of times and been told they have a history of complaining and therefore CS will not take their complaints seriously or help them. CS is fully aware that some people try to work every issue for free points, which makes them clamp down and be less likely to offer points to the next person who has a serious problem.

Got my order, everything seems OK! So happy! Today is actually better than Xmas! I'm buzzing! Thank you to everyone who has been posting & special thanks to whoever spotted the Gillette glitch, OH will be very happy with that! I've been doin the 75% off for 3years now but this is the 1st time I've .com'd! I can't believe my order actually went through because the site crashed minutes later.

Only problem is I've spent over £200 in Boots this month! I feel very naughty, but at least I'm boosting (or BOOTSING!) the economy!! :rotfl:

Hi JTZ,
It is always worth calling CS. If there is a problem they need to know about it.
I had a problem with an item and they just gave it to me for free. The top was missing from a deodorant and the picture on .com did not match description of another toiletry. I got them both for free with no extra points but I thought this was fair. Before you phone decide what it is you want the outcome to be. Was the item intended as a present , is it only the packaging that is damaged? Be reasonable and not too greedy.
Depends on the CS person, they may automatically offer you something or even ask you what would you like to do. If you are not happy with just a refund then ask them what compensation they are willing to offer you. If the points they are offering is not acceptable then say something along lines of xxx points would be more appropriate recompense I think....

All in all I'm now a happy bunny who's had her shopping fix for the day - still have 2 blinkies in my purse - think I'll grab the no7 file and buffer sets as these look really nice, managed to get some last friday whilst Bootsing.

There will be a new GWP with No7 on Wednesday, spend £18 I think. The blinkies finish on 1st Feb and some people have extra points coupons from gift sets. GWP may go through with £13 spend if blinkie given at end of transaction I believe.
