17 so chic make-up bag 20p
roc face wipes 6.45
LS poker straight conditioner 4.95
used a no7 250 voucher
2 pound off s&g
wrinklie, both bits
altogether cost me 9.68, got home looked at my reciept and the s&g wen through at 50p! should of been 4.49! well chuffed with this considerin g about a month ago before i discovered this brilliant forum i had about 20 points on my boots card, now i have 2731, sooo many bath products/gifts, and having fun while doing it!!!:T
just wanted to check though the sa said i coulnt pay with points as i had used vouchers! is this right?[/quote]
great shop:D lucky you getting the No7 gold bags for £1 each. The bags are not brilliant, but the contents are:T
The SA is right. You cannot pay with points if you use vouchers.0 -
Where's the lady who's after the Pink Suede Changing Bag???
Checked them again today & they're down to £7.50 now.0 -
Sorry to snip, but I wonder if you could make your spend up to £25 with a face product and hair product and use both sides of wrinklie, then total cost of p&p body serum and a face product and hair product and gwp would be £8.00 (I think) and you would get 250 points plus normal points.
Does that make sense?? :rotfl:
MIght try it next week, but will write it all down before I go so I dont get confused:rotfl:
Hi Sarnd:hello:
I have read, then re-read Sandra's post, tried to make sense of it, then read yours.
( thanks to lovely SS for trying this out for us)
Correct me if I am wrong but are you suggesting something like the example below:
Buy 1 x P&P serum 50% off @ £12.25p
Pick up 1 x No7 gwp foc
Buy 1 x olay thermal skin polisher @ £7.34p
Buy 1 x U G spa rituals shampoo @ £4.88p
Buy 1 x any item @ 53p (to make the total come to £25.00)
Then when paying use:
1 x 250 extra points wyb any No7 skincare
1 x 150 extra points wyb any UG from ACM
£5 off a £25 spend voucher (please tell me where I can get 1 of these though)
£5 off any P&P skincare from ACM
£5 off wrinklie
£2 off haircare wrinklie
This should leave £7.47 to pay/ 400 extra points and 28 normal points.
I think this the sort of thing you mean.;)
Another option would be to buy a cheaper haircare/ or skincare product and try the S&G £2 off voucher...
But as we know that causes problems this may be easier.:)0 -
I join those who have been unsuccessful with the S&G voucher after the SA has put the code in it just comes up terms not met and I have tried it 3 times.
oh well cant win them all, but will keep them a while longer and try them on sunday.
Have been successful with:
boots shower gel for .50p x 5
Mac deodorant for .54P x 5
TD Gradual tan face stuff using £5 wrinkle + 100 points x 2
(1 for me 1 for OH but very kindly he gave it to me)
nothing in the reduced hair care dept but going further afield on sunday to a different store because they always have a good reduction shelf so hoping they will have something I can spend them on.0 -
Hi fellow Bootsers,
I'm usually not too bad at Bootsing but hate coupons that beep and don't scan properley. Anyway have been getting itchy feet (so to speak) with everyone here talking about S&G stuff. Anyway despite not being able to get into my wardrobe and the ensuite floor and work drawers filled with a few:o of my purchases I decided to brave it and got 3 x S&G minis. I paid 40p after using 2 coupons. Made up for not buying anything else in Boots which is so not like me.
I did get 3 x Clinique items in Boots yesterday and got 1000 bonus points, 10% off and a bonus gift.Tesco points: 101 (£21.50, £19.50, £7.50, £21 & £5)
Boots points: £0.28
Pigsback points: 715 (4 xBoots£10 & 1 xPizzaHut£10, 2 x £10 clothing vouchers)
Mutual points: 3417 (redeemed 8250)
Rpoints:redeemed 28925 points)Cashbag:£8.91(£20)0 -
Does anyone have a list of the old style HE that has been reduced in price? I saw a load on the shelf today - but no reduced SELs for any of them!! But this store is a bit behind in putting SELS out at the best of times!!!
Thanks in advance!:D0 -
When I print the voucher (S&G) the terms and conditions are very faint and hard to read. I don't suppose anyone would be kind enough to send me a link if they have been able to produce a clear copy please.I have tried to darken the t&c's but it still prints out barely legible.
Also, the product states just skincare, so does that mean from the minature range you can only buy the handcream? Thanks0 -

Hi, Minx
Not sure about others but I bought both shampoo and conditioner for Greasy Roots Dry Ends @ 73p each some weeks ago, no more on shelves (probally stashed in the stock room) and all other old style I have seen in my locals for the last couple of weeks have been approx £2.92 each

I bought some patently obvious hand foamer when I saw it reduced to 80p ish, but I don't like the smell. Is it worth me keeping the bottle, as its a "foamer" and putting other (nicer smelling and cheaper
) handwash in it?
I got some naked juniper handwash today for 98p, so I'm chuffed with that, and will use the contents of that instead at the mo.minimoneyme wrote: »YES, YES, YES!
That's why I bought it in the first place! It makes a great foamer and the pump lasts a lot longer than any others I've found (1 year on and still going strong) I now use boots cheepo hand wash and one bottle lasts ages. You have to dilute it quite a lot, about 2cm of the hand wash in the bottom of the bottle then top up with water and shake (gently!) hth
Not sure if I'm understanding this correctly.....but I have a bottle of Kandoo soap (which is a foaming soap). Dd2 loves it but dd1's sensitive skin hates it!
Can I use the dispenser and add 2cm water to it then fill with normal liquid soap. Then when it's used the soap will foam?????0
