I meant to ask, does anyone know what a WOW is?
Apparently it's some sort of scheme where you can point out a member of staff for being especially good. I just don't know how to go about it.
I was given a survey and I mentioned in it the kind SA who always chatted and tried all the vouchers etc. When I asked her about it she said she had had a WOW (a mention from a survey) and was given a bag of goodiesSo if you like someone who is helpful ask if they have any surveys behind the till as you need to key in a code.
I also heard that SA's get to choose a gift for themselves from the shelf at xmas if they sold all the half price offers.:p0 -

The till issues surveys at random, and should be given to the customer carrying out that particular transaction as they are timed. At no time should they be 'put behind' the till, or used for a customer who asks for one.
Doing it that way and giving out the survey when it suits the SA is bad practice. I have never seen a SA do this, I have always had the survey given to me.
However I have seen SA with surveys tucked away, it always makes me wonder why they were never given out when originally issued.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -

Hi Polls, I had no idea the Body Serum was half price either. Did you just stumble across it on dot com, or is there a list of reduced items, or those on special offer please?
Well this opens up a whole new world of possibilities! I envisage :j :j
(1) P & P serum, with an S & G mini and GWP = £26.70
(2) Half price kicks in, so deduct £12.25 = £14.45
(3) 10% over 60s discount kicks in so deduct £1.22 = £13.23
(4) Hand over 250 points voucher so in Boots logic = £10.73
(5) Till says (without Boots logic) £13.23, deduct £5 ACM voucher = £8.23
(6) Deduct over £25 spend voucher of £5 = £3.23
(7) Deduct Soap & Glory £2 voucher = £1.23
(8) Remember I've handed over 250 points so in actual fact, Mr B has given me (drum roll) .................. £1.27 for taking it away!!!!

£2.94 a roll:eek: it's 90% off in sedley place. It's on the 2nd floor if anyone is interested. All the other clearance items have gone
They may have moved them to another part of the store?
morning
I am still wondering about the logic of the xmas paper no longer being in the sale. So since i am not working today, I am off bootsing on the great xmas paper hunt and, of course, for anything else I can find!!! Will report back later. Managed to lay my hands on some Bergasol sun tan lotion spray the other day for £1 a bottle (stockpiling for hols in the summer) so hoping for some other bargains today.
Have a good day

I don't have inside info I'm afraid:D I'm just a regular shopper at tesco. I think each store makes up their own policy though, but most stores will take some coupons -usually around 10% of the value of your shop. I don't use huge amounts of coupons, just 1 or 2 with each shop I do. But...every little helps:)
The policy at my local tesco is 4 coupons per shop - which can work out quite well as I do lots of little shops due to having no car. I save at least £60 per month now cos of coupons. Like Boots though it can be very sa dependent when it comes to the internet mocs.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

Boots disney moisturising baby bath £1.95
Boots disney baby lotion free as a BOGOF
3 x S&G mini hand food 40p *
*He had to void the sale and put the disney items through on their own and then had to put the S&G through in a seperate transaction. When I got to the till I explained that the voucher/coupons were 'akward' to scan. When they beeped, he did say 'oh, you have'nt qualified on your amount spent' I replied that no qualifying spend was mentioned and it did'nt state no minis, he trotted off for a supervisor, who said 'just put them through at 20p and scan this' It was a little barcode tag under the till, laminated, written on it 20p.
I handed over three vouchers but he only needed 2 as he still put it through on 342 :A which I did'nt expect to get. My receipt states
S&G mini H Fd HC50 .20p
S&G mini H Fd HC50 .20p
S&G mini H Fd HC50 20 NOW 0.00P
saving 20p
Total to pay 40p :T
'snipped'
All ready for some success following your fantastic example.....picked up 4 as had 4 coupons, SA told me on 3 4 2, which she would try to process with the coupon (all going so well) coupon bleeped, SA went and found supervisor who had a good read, agreed to override, went to till then remembered.... 'this is a new range due in at end of month'....why was the supervisor you had not nearby? Never mind picked up another couple of L'oreal mens sets for hubby, so a complete waste of time. Unfortunately no other stores in area stock the minis, so looks like a no go for me. Just wanted to give the range a try as am an S&G virgin, and also get a couple for presents for sisters.
Anyone know if worth a drive out to Ely or Peterborough to try S&G there? Many thanks for any advice
Hi, sorry you did'nt have any luck with yours. Might be worth popping in again and trying - just tell them that it states for skincare and not a specific range. I like to go in early and get the chap 'Matt' to serve me as he will normally just scan anything you hand him :A. The nice supervisor is the one with a dark haired bob and glasses.
Im not sure about Peterborough or Ely branches. I'm hoping to go to Ely today if the snow does'nt get any worse - and try them in there. Try the young girl on the No7 and the chap with the mohichan at the front till :A.
