Flumpster some other people have said the same (sorry cant remember who)and they used the s&g glove to undo it so if you have one or one similar it may be worth a try.
I often have trouble opening things due to a weak grip but i find popping on a rubber washing up glove usually does the trick. Have you tried abit of WD40?0 -

I'll be up your neck of the woods next week, visiting my family.
Is there a clearance shelf in Boots Overgate just now? Any idea where it is - I'll have my DD with me, and she will not be chuffed if I trawl all over both floors looking for it.
TIA,
Hi balletshoes, this store never has a regular clearance bit. A week or two ago there were a couple of trays on the first floor with reduced nail polishes and lipsticks but I think it's all gone now. If there is ever a clearance normally it's by the main tills on the ground floor and really hard to get to!

SandraScarlett wrote: »Hi Polls, I had no idea the Body Serum was half price either. Did you just stumble across it on dot com, or is there a list of reduced items, or those on special offer please?
Well this opens up a whole new world of possibilities! I envisage :j :j
(1) P & P serum, with an S & G mini and GWP = £26.70
(2) Half price kicks in, so deduct £12.25 = £14.45
(3) 10% over 60s discount kicks in so deduct £1.22 = £13.23
(4) Hand over 250 points voucher so in Boots logic = £10.73
(5) Till says (without Boots logic) £13.23, deduct £5 ACM voucher = £8.23
(6) Deduct over £25 spend voucher of £5 = £3.23
(7) Deduct Soap & Glory £2 voucher = £1.23
(8) Remember I've handed over 250 points so in actual fact, Mr B has given me (drum roll) .................. £1.27 for taking it away!!!!
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
Don't you just love it!!!! :T :T
If anyone were to try this, I'd hand over the voucher for £5 off a £25 spend BEFORE the ACM voucher for £5 off p&p. It's already iffy whether the till might see your spend as £25 for the purposes of the total spend voucher, but even if it does think you've spent £26.70, the £5 ACM voucher would reduce that to the till thinking you spent £21.70, and the total spend voucher definitely wouldn't work then. Always do money-off vouchers that require a minimum total spend before the other money-off vouchers.0 -
hello, did anyone who managed to order the moxie products for 1p the other day get their order? I was too late and they had sold out but put them in my favourites and they are showing as between 1.79 and 1.90 now so well done to those who got them for a penny, thry look really cute.
Hi Nuninge, my order's been dispatched but hasn't arrived yet. Snow was pretty bad up here yesterday so hopefully it will be today. Hope they come back on at that price for you0 -

I have tried rubber gloves, dont have the S&G glove unfortunately
I just dont know how its so stuck - even my incredibly strong 15 year old cant do it!
I am pretty sure Ive a can of WD40 lying about the garage somewhere, I shall give that a go.
I phoned Cust services and they said I could return for exchange at the store I got it or if they had none in stock they would credit me with 500 point on my AC - I feel a bit guilty cos I only spent 98p!:o
I havent phoned store to see if they have any stock left, so will leave it till after the weekend cos we are driving up to Elgin soon.
I wouldn't normally bother but the kids really like there set, and although it can still be used it sort of defeats the purpose of a travel set that can't fit in its case0 -
Now that I have the S&G vouchers printed off has anyone used them in any of the Newcastle stores and if you have, are you able to get the mini ones? If not, what can you get with them there please?
I gave some to a friend who used them okay in her local branch.
Thank you.0 -
Hi everyone, off to Wales for the weekend, any good bargains in any boots stores around North Wales, Llandudno, Carnafon etc. Any help appreciated, not that OH will be happy to have to go bootsing but I will if I find any bargains.0

Or maybe some Herbal Essences?:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It could possibly give the same effect as Fairy Liquid? :T0 -

Sorry, I know this is completely off topic.... but where do you stay flumpster? Elgin is not too far from where I am, and I have never seen anyone local to me on here before0 -
Pollsdolls wrote:It would be an insult not to buy it wouldn't it really? How did I know it was half price, Mr Boots sent me an email, I just assumed everyone got one, and knew about it. They are obviously selective now them now as well.
Of course it all hinges on whether the till sees it at full or half price.SandraScarlett wrote: »Sweetie, I'm off to Bluewater today!!!! You bet I'm going to try it out! Off to 40th Birthday do tonight, so will liberally apply body serum, and will no doubt be mistaken for a 23 year old! :j
