Hiya, Just wanted to ask those peeps who had managed to get Love Notes booklet:
Where were they in the shop ? (e.g. next to till ? etc), and also
Were they restocked ? (or were there just a few which were gone quite quickly).
    Many thanks !!! x

I've had them added to my bag by SA's at the till in one store, and found them on the perfume counters at others.

I still have a couple of the booklets, so if you want the vouchers from it, just pm me :D

I hear my husband snoring, I'm consumed with jealousy!
Now he's alright - he's slept all night - I wish it could be me!

I try a soothing milky drink - then settle in my bed
But then I have to visit, the bl**dy loo instead!

Then Darling Husband snores again - I know that he's alright
But I'm just contemplating Another Sleepless Night! :(

It's nearly three - Oh Woe Is Me! I need to be sedated
So please, dear friends, your tips would be so much appreciated. :wall:

    xx

If sleeplessness is due to Hubby's snoring, I'd put him to the spare room (if you have one) or on the couch -- that's where I send my Hubby. I also can't sleep even then without a fan running (turned away from me so I don't get cold); one with a loud humming sound is soothing and blocks out other little noises that might wake you in the night. If need be, add in a fourth of a dose of Sleapeze (get the smaller dose pills and cut in half), and you should be off to dreamland. ;)

Self service tills is that not asking for trouble? I don't know how safe they are, surely there are too many triers out there with some of the stuff being so small and expensive?696b35cc35e710279b9c2dedc08e22d7.jpg

Boots obviously thinks SS tills are not a huge risk - as they are unveiling more and more of them. There are SS till in most of the stores I go to, to be honest, certainly all the city/town centre ones. Even though they are SS, there is still usually a SA hovering around the SS till area.
  • Canterbury Whitefriars had lots ( i bagged 4) of Herbal Essences 400ml Shampoos reduced to 73p yesty, Olay GWP are on the new Burts Bees/neals Yard stand, being guarded! No putting sets, the only Loreal Anti Fatigue i could find was in a box, so guess that not the right one, as put thru SS tills,at £11.xx So put back, And i was made to feel like a criminal for trying to use the S&G voucher, they have said i have to take the whole mail in, to prove it isnt a scam, which im not impressed about, but will do, just to prove im not a cheat!
Wincheap has some of the Loreal GWP and 17 GWP left still too xx
  • Reminder - if you notice new SS tills, can you PM CPG so she can add to the list on p.1.

I've not seen them, but if they're anything like the Sainsburys ones, they weigh the goods as you put them in the bag, so they have a rough idea of if what you've put in the bag could be what you've scanned. They shout out if they think it's a wrong item "incorrect item in the bagging area".

If things are small and expensive, they're going to be taken by shoplifters whether there are SS tills or not

Thats exactly what they're like - "unexpected item in bagging area", "one free" when you scan a GWP, calls out the prices when you've scanned your item etc etc.

I am really sorry to read this. I had never heard about that type of skin reaction to fragrances. It goes to show we should try new fragrances on the skin before buying them. You can try to ebay it and try to get back some of the price paid. You can always try to approach one of the ladies at an EL stand and ask her to whom you should complain, they might give you an address.

As for the scent of the 8 hour cream, mine also smells really strongly. Someone mentioned the other day it had a lovely scent. I would never call that "lovely" it is really strong, but given its properties I don't mind. But I am also wondering it I got an old one... it did buy it in an online seller at a discount...

Hi, I had an skin reaction to Elizabeth Arden 5th Avenue, a few years ago, I wrote a letter to them enclosing a photograph of what I looked like with the rash, they sent me a cheque to cover the cost of the bottle and a bit more. Why dont you try that. hth
  • I have a couple of the blue £5 off & £2 off haircare vouchers.
Could someone be kind enough to tell me the best way to use them on a minium spend.
I did check the 1st post and was surprised not to see the usual list ............................. or am I missing it???
    Thanks in advance
