Peterborough today had some clearance for a change !

Only went in for some heat protection spray and found a Toni and Guy one on clearance for 2.67- used £2 voucher and 150 points
Also got some Boots mango shower gel x2 for 50p each , 7 Naked maple sugar face mask sachets for 10p each and 3 patently obvious hand sanitisers for 20p each.
Paid 2.97 and got 158 points back. Almost free in Boots logic!
There were also some 17 eye trio 's for 75p but they would not scan and I was in a hurry so left it. SA still gave me a wrinklie though!

I agree with you Jelly Tots. It is not the usual EA quality, and not a patch on the eyeshadow quad we got with the magazine voucher before xmas.

Hi everyone.Did a bit of bootsing today but had the OH with me (unavoidable) - so sent him on a scouring mission looking in empty baskets, the floor ledges etc for wrinklies.I gave him one so that he didn't bring back any old rubbish,
Meanwhile, I tackled the purchase of 6 more mini S & G.
This time, to avoid a fuss and to give myself a bit of support, I cut out the coupons to include the bit under the scizzor line so that they could see it was a Boots coupon and didn't exclude minis or 3 for 2. The SA fiddled about a bit and huffed and puffed as they do - so I showed her my previous receipt and read out the coupon details and ...Success!
OH returned just as I was finishing - he had found two wrinklies so I took him for a cup of coffee.
Was a good day, for once ! hth xxxxx

How did you manage to get the sales assistant to include minis and do it in the same transaction so it came off as 342? I had shown the bit under the scissor line saying the only exclusion was the face wipes which i pointed out and they still said it was only for big sizes and not on the 342 (not minis) boohoo i had to put my mini hand creams back but i got a hand wash which was great as she manually deducted the £2.

Any tips?Anyone?

I've had a brilliant day today bootsing with my friend. Got £76 worth off stuff for £19 (£30 but got £11 in points). Walked up to the counter very confidently with my S&G vouchers and my minis and said my "friend" had been in the day b4 and they had to be overrode as a boots coupon. SA went to get a Manager to check, who said she thought they didn't work cos they were mini's and I said oh no, the only exclusion is the facial wipes, my "friend" bought them yesterday. So she put the discount on, but didn't realise that the 342 had gone through as I'd bought other things, so I got all 3 for free plus a bit more money off (£1.60?). I was so high me and my friend did the whole thing all over again after a spot of lunch, putting 6 items each in our baskets the next time, so she got 9 for £1.20 and I got paid 80p for my 9. We bought shower gels, body creams and hand lotions. Gosh I love all you bootsers who give us the guts to try these things out!! xxx

I had some nice Dr Nick Lowe items on clearance today. Managed to get:
1 x Dr Nick Spot gel - £4.38 free with wrinklie
2 x Dr Nick Dermobrasion Peel £5.36 each free with 2 wrinklies
1 x ROC foaming facial wash £5.13 - 13p to pay and wrinklie
1 x Dr Nick Hand cream £6.34 - £1.34 to pay and wrinklie
1 x Jamelia serum - £1.71 free with wrinklie
6 x S & G mini hand creams used £2 S & G vouchers and paid £1.20
Also picked up Skin doctors Instant Eyelift for £9.77 and got another voucher!

Pleased with my shop today!!
