NEW Olay Regenerist Micro-derm Cleansing Cloths
    sorry i meant these
  • Well i am officially no longer a bootsing virgin as i had my first bootsing experience today....

I have been in boots many times but never seem to get any bargains...but once you know how, thanks to all of you, its a very different story.

After printing off several S and G vouchers, along with a £5 skincare and £2 voucher which was in my purse from a previous spend(and would have likely expired as i never spent those) i headed along to my nearest boots.

I went to the ACM and printed off a 150 points for T and G.
    In my basket:
1x Model me (T and G) Jamelia hair tub for 1.76 (intended to use £2 haircare voucher)
    2x S and G handwashes, was £4.40 now £2.20ea (intended to use 2x £2 off vouchers)
1xS and G mini hand cream at £2.20 (342 on S and G) so this should have been free on the 342.
    3x oral b pulsar toothbrushes at £5.86 ea (342)
1x olay facewash at £4.88 (intended to spend £5voucher)

The sales assistant rang up all the items above and it came to something like £22, including the S and G handcream free as was on 342 as was the toothbrushes on 342.

I began to produce my vouchers, one by one.

The S and G printable voucher didnt work and the poor SA had to go and get her supervisor. The supervisor said i couldnt use them in one transaction and it wasnt valid on minis (even tho i said it didnt say minis were excluded) so she refunded the mini handcream and one handwash. She said they didnt accept photocopies only original vouchers and these were not originals. I said they were not photocopied and they were not from boots but S and G sent an email out and you have to print off the voucher which is what i had done. So she was a bit suspicious but manually deducted £2. So finally.....paid 0.20p for the handwash wahey.

Then i handed over the haircare voucher for £2 (wrinkly as they have been called)-that went thro no probs so deduced the 1.76 but the ACM 150pts didnt work but still happy = FREE

The toothbrushes went through at 342 so that saved £5.86 = paid £11.72 for the three toothbrushes.

The facewash didnt go through on the £5 wrinkly as the SA said it was only the regenerist, total effect and definity. So i said i would get one of the kind as i was only getting it to spend the voucher. So she refunded that.

So that was it, i paid 11.92 in total, and i got another wrinkly.

Went downstairs and got two Olay total effect cleansers 5.86, used the two £5 vouchers in separate transactions so 0.86p each i paid.

Another model me tub (which was free with haicare wrinklie i had got from the spend upstairs) the 150 pts ACM voucher didnt work here either but still very pleased.

    Bargains. Thanks to all.

    Am addicted to this already....
  • My PF (Poorly Friend) was so pleased with her bag of goodies. :j I used one of my many recycled gift bags, stuffed with loads of gold tissue paper (which I bought for 5p a packet at Asda last month) and wrapped each gift in more tissue paper, and it was all "ooooooooos" and "aaaaaaaaaaahs" as she looked at each item. :D So much pleasure for £1.50!!

I presented her with this once she was settled in bed, together with a smaller bag that contained:

    Antiseptic Hand Wash
    Antiseptic Wipes
    Plastic Cutlery
    Antiseptic Tissues

She is not so much terrified about the surgical part of her operation, but getting MRSA, so I've tried to take every precaution.

I also gave her some of my Fifth Hand Magazines - Someone buys them, gives them to her DM, who gives them to her DS, who gives them to her DSIL, who gives them to me, who usually passes them on to my DD, who passes them to my DDIL!! ;)

These were dated November, but what does that matter! Grannifying tomorrow and then Bluewater on Friday, and have then been invited to another friend's 40th, where I shall be boogying on down, bunions and all!

    xx

I was also terrified of getting MRSA in hospital as my mum died of it after a heart op. I made sure everyone used the antibacterial handwash whenever they came near me. I even asked the doctor to use it as i never saw one use any from one patient to the next.
I just explained about my mum and they were ok about me being so paranoid.
  • Saw a few good deals today, Make Believe bronzing palettes £1.25 instead of £9.79, also their Winterglow Facial £2.49 instead of £24.47 and finally ROC replacement dermabrasion heads - pack of 2 for 85p instead of £6.84......was sooo tempted to buy some these and offer them on here as I know a few of you have managed to get the ROC dermabrasion kits reduced, but I chickened out thinking I might be stuck with them! (I did wonder if it was an obsessive step too far to buy things that you know are a bargain just in case someone wants them!!)

I am still looking for the cosmopolitan Lacoste 750pt voucher if anyone has one spare....myself I have p&p acm £5 off voucher, 250pts when you buy Ruby & Millie make up, and of course the wrinklies that could be sent in the opposite direction;)
  • Went to the ACM today, to see if there was any new vouchers, but someone had been before me and printed vouchers and just left them sitting in the ACM!
I, of course picked them up! But now don't know what to do with them!
PM me if you have any ideas ;)

    £5 off p&p
100 points wyb No7 body beautiful range x2
150 pts wyb Trevor Sorbie x3
200 pts wyb any new No7 extreme length mascara
    100 points wyb Umberto Giannini
