No, you only get double normal points, not double bonus points.
So, if the perfume was £33, double points would be 264. Plus then the 750 bonus points, and the 150 points for spending over £20.

They come in a mailing, which you may or may not get. I've had 2 mailings in the last 4 months but nothing before that for about a year, so I think it is a bit hit and miss.
Also with the double points voucher do check you receipt afterwards. I used it today, seemed to go thru OK but when I checked my receipt it had all the offer points (HE/total spend) but not double my ordinary spend, so I had to go back and get them added by a manager. hth
  • My PF (Poorly Friend) was so pleased with her bag of goodies. :j I used one of my many recycled gift bags, stuffed with loads of gold tissue paper (which I bought for 5p a packet at Asda last month) and wrapped each gift in more tissue paper, and it was all "ooooooooos" and "aaaaaaaaaaahs" as she looked at each item. :D So much pleasure for £1.50!!

I presented her with this once she was settled in bed, together with a smaller bag that contained:

    Antiseptic Hand Wash
    Antiseptic Wipes
    Plastic Cutlery
    Antiseptic Tissues

She is not so much terrified about the surgical part of her operation, but getting MRSA, so I've tried to take every precaution.

I also gave her some of my Fifth Hand Magazines - Someone buys them, gives them to her DM, who gives them to her DS, who gives them to her DSIL, who gives them to me, who usually passes them on to my DD, who passes them to my DDIL!! ;)

These were dated November, but what does that matter! Grannifying tomorrow and then Bluewater on Friday, and have then been invited to another friend's 40th, where I shall be boogying on down, bunions and all!

    xx

Hi. Have you, (or anyone),tried to use the wrinklie with mens products?

I see no reason why it wouldn`t work with this, there are no gender exclusions on the voucher, (unlike the hair care), and it`s from the named range. There are a couple of others, (one Nivea and another L`Oreal), but this the cheapest.

I will try it tommorrow if nobody else has as I use L`Oreal and No7 daily.

Not been to any lately so nothing to report.
I posted b4, i got this tues, tried at differant store today and refused because it beeped, manager refused o/r. Rang cs eventually gave me 1000 points but said it is store specific if they accept???
    SIMPLES!
  • Not much clearance stuff left in the Chequers Centre, Maidstone branch now.

I asked an SA who was filling shelves in the men's shaving section, if they had any of the putting sets. She told me that offer had finished. When I told her that some friends of mine, in different parts of the country, had got some recently, she admitted that the branch has got some, but as the offer is over they had to remove them from the shelves and weren't allowed to sell them or give them as GWP, so I asked what would happen to them. She told me they could not sell them until 6 months had passed. There was no way she was going to get me one, even though I told her I really wanted one for my 'boyfriend' (he's just a good friend, really) who's golf mad. She said other branches would be in trouble if they are still giving them out

The branch in Fremlin Walk, Maidstone, still has cards and wrapping paper at 75% off, and some sun stuff reduced.

I asked about the special discount day tomorrow, but they said they knew nothing about it, and it was probably only a few selected branches. Oh well, their loss - I went to House of Fraser instead to buy my perfume, and it's 10% off of all fragrances there this week because of Valentines Day. I got the nice Daisy gift set for £36 instead of their usual £40 :)

Went to the above store. No HE, or anything for that matter. No reductions on any haircare apart from Model Me.

Tried doing S+G 342 with 2 x vouchers. SA put it through and it came up incentive bond. So she called someone over. Was made to wait 15 minutes as the other SA tried calling a manager and was not successful. Read the voucher about 10 times and then said I could not have it cos it was a mini. I said my girlfriend (who does not actually exist) used the voucher yesterday and it worked fine. After another 5 minutes of ooohing and aaahing she said I could not have it unless I got a big product. I said fine, I'll have the vouchers back. I'm tempted to call SA and complain. I'm not impressed at all. She could have just said no from the start instead of wasting my time!

Although i'm new to all this bootsing, i have been reading this thread for some months. I am positive that i read a few months back that some fellow Bootsers had also had this incentive bond appear when scanning vouchers and this entitled them to (i think) £10 off there shop!! Something like that anyway.

Maybe someone else can remember and elaborate.... Think you missed out there.

Thanks I will try this tomorrow! Worth a shot!!

On another note - wish I got sent mailings with double points - I don't get anything - really annoying how hit and miss this all this!!
  • Oh, nearly forgot - there was a sign up in the Chequers Centre, Maidstone branch at the perfume counter, saying the free gift with the Lacoste Pink stuff had changed as the bags were now out of stock - some sort of set, but I didn't get close enough to read it properly
