There was Gwen Stefani LAMB, 30ml for £7.50, 50ml for £10.00, body lotion for £5. There were also a number of aftershaves, Ben Sherman, smaller bottle £2, bigger bottle £4, Ralph Lauren Polo Black £7.50, Burberry for Men £7.00, and a few more I cant remember. Sorry!!
I am completely stocked up on Gwen Stefani LAMB now thanks to Boots and S*******g.:D
Yes, it was in Musselburgh. The SA put the wrinklie through without a blink. I find them most helpful down here and their Clearance is often a great deal more interesting than the big one up in Fort, don't you think?
I did look at some of the perfumes but as I really only use one (Givenchy Organza) and I'd just bought myself a gift set of it for 22 Herbal Essences (ie £9.56) I didn't really want any more perfume, so left it.Val.0 -

Wandered around poundland after Mr Bs and purchased 2 copies of a book - The best of Cosmopolitan the 70s and 80s. Oh lordy did I get some funny looks on the bus back home:D:D Could'nt stop laughing articles ie- picture of Ian Mcshane as the cosmo pinup - starkers with a puppy covering his tackle - How to cut your own hair - adverts are great too - picture of dennis waterman with the caption... Dennis Waterman once a week just is'nt enough for some girls! Now you can hear dennis waterman any day or night on his new cassette 'Down wind of Angels'.
But my favourite thing so far is the Tramp perfume advert which states 'What can Boots do for you today? heres 25p to say something different about yourself. With Tramp........so tempted to cut the 25p coupon out and take it in store on Friday
:rotfl:
So if you have a poundland I would highly recommend it.........

Aggie I saw these in my local Poundland today, I can remember the 70's Cosmo first time round, you've persuaded me to go back and buy one :rotfl:
Did you also see the Mamma Mia books and the biography of one of the Python gang? These would all make fab gifts or hamper fillers.
*runs away before peeps start throwing rotten tomatoes cos I'm way off topic*
**************************************************************************************
Oh, you deffo have to get 1 or 2. I'm keeping one and giving the other to my SIL as she has always been a cosmo girl, lol.
Yes I grabbed 2 of The Life of Graham books last week - we don't have the mamma mia ones though.

Hiya everyone
I'm planning a Bootsing trip tomorrow (wanted to go today but in too much pain so will dose up on painkillers and WILL go tomorrow!!) Anyway, I want to stock up on some mens products using my wrinklies as I am really lacking in mens bits for my hampers for the year. Just wondered which ones people really recommend as nice products - have been looking online at Loreal Mens Expert and also Trevor Sorbie which all look nice packaging wise and quite a range of items for between £2.73 and about £5.86 so will end up being minimum spend of pennies plus 3for2 on Trevor Sorbie and BOGOHP on Loreal - does anyone have OHs who use either of these and really like them or can suggest other? Not sure where I'll be going yet - either Crawley, Maidstone or Epsom - anyone got experience of any of these stores?
Thanks in advance...0 -

Nothing much of any interest today in Silverburn - large boots own bubble bath down to 50p at the tills and large tubs of boots own intensive conditioner (coconut I think) also 50p
Got Time Delay Gradual Tan Moisturiser with wrinklie for 86p
Went to Braehead as I needed to get some Lush stuff so popped in to Mr B's. Clearance pretty poor - loads of Eliz Arden makeup but but any T&G was still £4.50 etc.
Needed some shampoo anyway(sorry girls - not likng HE - have given it to my sons! Glad I hadnt got 200 bottles of the stuff) so printed off another 150 UG point voucher as I already had one.
Got a full size shampoo and two minis and used 150 points and £2 voucher then a separate transaction with a conditioner and some other bits and bobs.
Both totals just over £5 so got two more wrinklies, and extra 300 points.
So still have 2 more to spend! To think I used to throw these away up until about a fortnight ago!0 -

Feeling a bit peeved as have just realised that I can't use the wrinklies for mens products!!! ARRRGGH!! Have ordered an Advantage Card for my OH as have also found out that apparently the vouchers you get on the ACM are dependant on your shopping habits and my OH always buys his own toiletries which means I would never get vouchers for mens stuff!! Not sure I believe them though cos I've always bought No7 P&P stuff and didn't get the £5 voucher recently! Only managed to get hold of them from you lovely ladies on here!!
Anyway, really wanted to use up my wrinklies on mens stuff but will have to look again for other stuff instead! Unless anyone has any wrinklies for mens stuff they want to swap? I currently have 3 of each of the skincare & haircare wrinklies. And I'll be picking up more tomorrow I guess when I buy my P&P 200ml Serum!!0
