    Hi again

Just a quick heads up for anyone that doesn't know...at the moment if you visit any Clarins counter (Boots or not) you can ask for 3 (sometimes they give you more) samples of their products.

The samples are very handy for taking away on weekends away and in true MSE style...they are FREE! (just costs you a lil bit of time :D)

Also for those near Oxford St - there's over 5 places you can get them from - Boots, Selfridges, John Lewis, Debenhams and House of Fraser

    HTH :D

they cost my pride :D I try not to have to deal with the SA from the premium beauty counters as they look at you down and judge buy the clothes/face ... so I try to stay away (well I admit I only buy something when it's a good points offer, but still they shouldn't be so posh)

:rotfl: I always worry about that too! although I was brave before xmas and went for a consultation at clarins, got some lovely freebies, but I then avoided that side of the store for weeks incase they 'caught' me and asked me how the testers went!
  • Hi bootsters, hope you have alll found some bargains today:hello:

I tried out the No7 pedicure set today and I have to say that it was not very good at all.:(
It didn't really do much, except, get stuck every time I applied a tiny bit of pressure against my skin.
Has any on else found that it does not work very well? Does any one know about/ or has tried out the JML ped egg at all.

With wrinkies today I picked up some reduced Olay items:
1x Olay Regenerist Serum 50ml ( with 2 free samples in the pack) priced online @ £23.98 for the serum on its own.
Reduced instore to £6.12p, used wrinklie paid £1.12p

1 x Olay Total Effects Anti-Ageing Blemish Care priced on line @ £16.63p reduced instore to £8.32p,
used wrinklie so paid just £3.32p.

Bought some Olay age defying cleansing wipes each time, to make the total come to £5, in order to get another wrinklie.:)
Used the haircare voucher to get some J F Frizz Ease Serum mini's foc.:)
Also saw some reduced ROC duo sets @ £9.98p,
    L'oreal (mini peel) skincare sets @ £5.69,

Crown point had lots of HE 400ml shampoo for 37p & conditioner for 73p, CW heat spray 50p, CW time defy conditioner £1.38 & frizz smoothing conditioner for £1.35 (this one scanned at £5+ so SA removed ticket from shelf).

Also in White rose the SA was clearing the shelf of HE ready to be reduced & put back out later so may be worth a look later in the week.

Nothing at all in Birstall retail park apart from sachets of Wella shaders hair colour for 10P.

Did get 3 S&G minis in Crown point but voucher didnt scan so SA had to manually reduce the price form £2.20 down to 20p rather than use the coupon, still only paid 40p for 3 though. :T

I had the same problem, after 2 or 3 goes it stopped altogether, so I took it back for a refund saying it wasn't fit for purpose, got a full refund. hth
